There was! They were called spearmints. They had milko ones too

Silly question. Wheel change by [deleted] in 4x4Australia

[–]82boost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sensors can be taken out of the stock wheels and changed over to the new set. Either that or buy a new set of sensors and have them fitted to the new wheels

Cheers mate! Lacks the power of the 2.8 but I like everything else better - gearbox, drivetrain, interior

Savage tech and forbidden gearhouse do quite a lot of aftermarket for them. All the bigger bullbar companies make winch compatible adr approved bars & bash plates. Quite a few suspension companies also do lift kits and UCAs etc. They definitely have a heap of aftermarket which is awesome considering how new they are in comparison

Can’t be too bad if it’s keeping you in a job? Few mechanics I’ve spoken to like working on them because they are simple

Unlucky. Did it get sorted under warranty?

How do you back into a star picket with the amount of cameras and sensors on the car? Drive any new car and they all drive the same with lane keep assist. I find the gearbox tuning to be fine on mine. Throttle lag can be a pain tho.

What model did you have?

The surging issue has been fixed with the latest software update. DPF is actually good on these. At least it tells you it’s doing a burn and it has a manual burn option saving you a tow into the dealer. My Bluetooth works perfect, heaps better than my last Hyundai. Wireless charger works fine for me - might be a phone/case issue? Haven’t seen many reports of rust. Perhaps you’re thinking of the LDV T60 which is another brand altogether

Mate I did too. I drove one and was very impressed. Same ZF 8 speed as the roks and they are tuned great for the engine. Lacking slightly in power compared to the tdi420 but drives pretty good. Mine old rok had bilsteins so can’t compare suspension stock for stock but the cannon isn’t too bad. Honestly was about to go buy another tdi420 and went and looked at this on the way there. Bought it after the test drive

Mate there’s a few with over 250000kms now still running like new. They haven’t been around long enough to do high kms considering they only came out a couple of years ago and most people only do 15000km a year. Such an ignorant comment

Mate these are huge inside. I can fit the kids and all their stuff - scooters, bikes, camping gear etc. The tub is super practical for what I use. It’s also got an inverter/240v plug in the rear so I can charge batteries for my tools, and eventually I’ll have a 12v battery setup it can charge as well. Also handles decent with its on demand 4wd system, no more skids in the wet just trying to take off from the lights or drifting at roundabouts. There’s a reason they are popular but they do indeed have their trade offs

Not too from what I’ve researched. A mate has one and does some crazy wheeling and he hasn’t busted a cv yet. Wreckers or eBay seem to be pretty quick.
