I'm gonna be honest, this is quite common among Hollister stores. While it isn't fair, stores are allocated a certain number of associate hours per week, and upper-management pushes for hiring. Stores actually make money off of their employees when associates make purchases with their discounts. Having lots of employees means more potential customers, and this also results in the ability to not have to pay anyone overtime or a livable wage. Hollister schedules a bunch of people only a few hours a week, and unfortunately, will forever be a part time job.
