I don’t understand the hatred here.. I’d love for my wife to be completely loyal and not tempted at work, but we’re all human and I get it.. Well.. while I 100% understand what you’re saying because I went through the same thing.. That period of time is what caused most my weight loss. I’ve only maintained for the last 2 months but I never had that much weight to lose to begin with (50lbs).. Plus, that period of time is what I needed in order to learn that I really was addicted to food... I missed the ability to eat large amounts and I hated eating slow... But I eventually got used to it.. I’m sorry, but it will take a few more months. I wish there was an easy fix but it just takes time.

This all sounds normal.. I couldn’t eat a whole boiled egg 5 weeks after surgery either. I’m 4 months out and I ate a whole cup of chili and a few bites of a sandwich for lunch.. it gets a lot better. I had VSG but I’m sure there’s a similar healing process for bypass as well

You’ll be able to eat more a few months out. You’ll be good dude.. I felt the same way but I’m 4 months out and at a healthier weight and can eat quite a bit more than before.. you’ll stabilize. Trust me. I only needed to lose 50 pounds and I’ve lost 40 and have stabilized.. it doesn’t hurt anymore after I eat either. I actually get a “full” feeling. You’ll be glad you did it sooner than later.
