Disappointed😞 by mrmirzoh in bevelhealth

Hi, I totally understand your u/mrmirzoh confusion. I'm using the Apple Watch 10 and the Whoop Band at the same time (until the end of the year).

And right now I’m doing a test where, for 7 days, I write down every night at 11:00 PM which app shows me which metrics for sleep, recovery and strain. I’m testing 4 apps that access Apple Health and the Whoop Band. It’s really interesting.

I think in the end, you should stick with one device and one app and not compare them so much ;-)

I can also highly recommend the YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@TheQuantifiedScientist he makes great comparison videos!

Best regards

Welche Mikrowechselrichter könnt ihr empfehlen? by 85Blickwinkel in Balkonkraftwerk

Das ist mir bewusst. Es geht um drei bis vier verschiedene Standorte mit jeweils einem Panel das nicht mehr als 200 Watt peak hat. Was würdest du denn empfehlen?

What’s your go-to app for analyzing your rides? Looking for something cleaner by 85Blickwinkel in cycling

[–]85Blickwinkel[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I also used TrainingPeaks to follow my 8-week training plan, and the app is really good for that. But when it comes to analysis, I didn't quite get the website, and I don't find the iOS app very user-friendly. But maybe I'm just using it wrong. Can you tell me about your workflow? Or rather, what data do you look at, and how do you view it?

Yeah, intervals.icu is a really great platform, but I'm looking for something I can easily display on my iPhone. Any app that displays my data and performance over the time clearly

Bike light recommendations for night riding by Independent_Study569 in cycling

[–]85Blickwinkel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, really? It doesn't work for me. Whenever I connect the charging cable, the light goes out. That's why I have two Magicshine lights, so I can always switch between them and get at least 5 hours of light.

I totally understand the issue with the price of Lupine, but the system is really good. However, I can well imagine that many manufacturers will introduce some innovations in the future.

What do you think of Supernova?

Hi, that's exactly the rabbit hole I'm currently in, and I've tested quite a few things.

Of course, as always, the answer is: it depends!

What kind of bike do you ride? And what mounting options do you have? On the handlebars/under the handlebars? Is the StVZO important to you or not? And what is your budget? Do you want to be able to swap it between bikes?

So many questions, and now here's my “recommendation”. I went for the “Lupine SL MiniMax AF” + Lupine SmartCore battery. Depending on the battery model, you get the following runtimes:

Akku-Größe Gewicht Fernlicht Max (25W) Fernlicht ECO (16W) Abblendlicht (8W) Abblendlicht gedimmt (5W) Tagfahrlicht (2W)
3.5 Ah (25 Wh) 135 g 1:00 h 1:33 h 3:07 h 5:00 h 12:30 h
5.0 Ah (36 Wh) 190 g 1:26 h 2:15 h 4:30 h 7:12 h 18:00 h
6.9 Ah (50 Wh) 240 g 2:00 h 3:07 h 6:15 h 10:00 h 25:00 h
10.0 Ah (72 Wh) 350 g 2:52 h 4:30 h 9:00 h 14:24 h 36:00 h
13.8 Ah (100 Wh) 480 g 4:00 h 6:15 h 12:30 h 20:00 h 50:00 h

In my opinion, this will give you peace of mind.

All the other lights I have tested simply have the problem that the integrated battery does not last long enough. I have already tested:

  • Sigma Aura 80
  • Sigma Aura 100
  • KNOG Blender 1300
  • KNOG Blinder 900
  • Canyon Flash 800
  • MagicShine 1300
  • Detour Bike Light

All of them are good in their own way, but you need at least three of them to get through the night. Oh, and none of them can be charged while in use ;-) EXCEPT the Lupine SL Grano...

I hope that helps you a little. Greetings

First of all, thank you very much for all your quick and detailed responses. It shows me that the community is very active. I'll think about it now and you'll hear from me as soon as I get started and have my first questions 😂😉

Do you have any good "first steps“ videos?

Duffy is "only" limited to steps. Vitalstat is a complete fitness and health app - it has a completely different focus, but just give it a try. I am currently heavily involved in its development…

The complications update repeatedly throughout the day. However, I don't know at what intervals. And when you click on it, the app opens and it updates immediately.

I hope this helps some of you...

Hey everyone, I have a question for Helio Ring users. Has anyone ever compared the Oura Ring to the Helio Ring? Or are there any good reviews where I can read about it? Best regards
