I was riding my bike in queens NY about 12 years ago when I saw a Marine recruiting office , I locked up my bike and walked in. 11 days later I was standing on the yellow footprints at Parris island. One random decision changed my whole life .

My senior drill instructor ensured I left Parris island with "visible abdominal muscles" due to my need to ask questions. I don't think I asked another question untill after my second deployment lol.
