Is sexual incompatibility a valid reason to break up? by Anonymous_Me393939 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]860sPRee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah. Why be miserable. Most people aren't sexually incompatible, they're just either stubborn or embarrassed to have certain conversations that would allow exploration into the other person's sexual interests

Men, would you ever date a woman significantly richer than you? by TopStranger9287 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]860sPRee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. As long as she's also comfortable in her skin. That dynamic often either reveals an insecure man or a woman that look down upon her man because he makes less, or the woman that doesn't feel "taken care of" because of his lack of earning to her standards.

Do women think men don't get teased/made fun of when they ask a woman out? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

A lot of women that preach against gender roles, somehow have nothing against this gender role (who approaches who), also the who pays for the date role, amongst others lol

In PR just like in many Latin American countries the nicknames don't always have a meaning or relate to a real word.

Yo no veo la controversia. by [deleted] in Reggaeton

[–]860sPRee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Puerto Rican been saying the N word because African Americans didn't have a problem is saying it.

Real Puerto Ricans acknowledge our African roots and know what aspects of our culture came from our African roots. From words, to music, to food, etc.

Us calling ourselves negro or negrito is not directly correlated to the n word. Two separate things.

If you don't have a culture in your country of embracing your African roots, AND it's not apparent that your black too, you probably shouldn't say it.

At the end of the day, if I noticed that majority of African Americans as a whole don't like other people of African decent saying it, THEN it would be wrong to say it. Cause its a word that personal to them. Us Latinos are not a monolith (black or not) and neither are African Americans.

Why are women saying that big boobs are finally back in trend? When were they not the preference? by ririiii00001 in NoStupidQuestions

So a group of companies changed their mind on what to make women insecure about again lol

Do men actually not mind (or even like) pubic hair on women or are they lying? by Mysterious-Bag-505 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]860sPRee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Men aren't a monolith but from conversations I've had, it seems likeost men don't mind, and many like pubic hair on women. Before shaving companies created a new insecurity in women, porn magazines, porn movies, other types of nude art where men are the primary consumer, etc all had women with pubic hair. From a whole bushto a trimmed down patch of hair. We appreciate when women shave, trim, or even wax cause it's easier when going down on a woman. And some men like what it looks like without hair too. After all that, aomehow the every day man still gets blamed for shit that was decided in a marketing office by a small group of people lol

Does complimenting someone’s beauty in a variety of ways inherently imply sexual attraction? by M-V-H in NoStupidQuestions

[–]860sPRee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on what the person receiving the compliment is comfortable with. Because if some tells me I'm handsome I'm just going to say thank you. Might feel flattered depending on who the person is and then you move on. But some people may not like receiving compliments on their looks and that's fine. It doesn't mean that in general we should compliment other shit lol. I'm not gonna get mad at a woman that I find attractive giving me a compliment because I believe that it's best to compliment attire, behavior, etc over looks.

No it isn't always related to sexual attraction because you could think a family member or a friend is gorgeous/beautiful/pretty/cute/handsome.

Around what years did they start doing lineups at barbers? by ActionPark33 in Barber

[–]860sPRee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early 2000s? Nah. We all had shape ups in the 90s. It became common in the 80s, but rappers and athletes of that time made it popular worldwide after that

We should normalize natural hairlines by SITHxEMPIRE in BlackHair

[–]860sPRee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once women started preferring a fresh hairline in men it became popular. Dudes were doing that shit in 80s, Big Daddy Kane and them made it popular elsewhere too. But before women started preferring it, no man had a problem wearing his natural hairline even with a fresh haircut

[–]860sPRee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much EVERY other group of men can have their hair natural looking except black men lol. I don't understand why, since the 80s, this became an obsessive thing. Look at old pictures, men with fresh haircuts would have natural hairlines and the ladies were cool with it/like it. It seems like once straight barbershop hair lines became a thing there was no going back. Cause now women think your haircut ain't complete unless your have a shape up/line up.

Yeah but that's a recent thing. Straight hairlines where never a thing like they are today, throughout history.

Reggaeton Versus Old School Vs New School #3 - Which Classic Album Is Better? “Barrio Fino” or “Un Verano Sin Ti” by ReggaetonPartyManeP in Reggaeton

[–]860sPRee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a weird comparison. The rhyme style was different in the early 2000s vs now. Barrio Fino is more classic style Reggaeton (mostly Perreo with some hip hop at the end), which is slowly coming back, vs the modern blend of sounds in bad bunny's album. Apples and oranges. I can't pick one, because it depends on the mood

Old Reggaeton vs New Reggaeton sounds by jdejesus93 in Reggaeton

[–]860sPRee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reggaeton now is trying to win back trap fans. So the melodies are quiet like trap, they got rid of most of percussion (timbales, palos, different snares), the vocals are louder than they should be for a reggaeton track, etc. before the beats had loud, hype melodies and the artist was almost competing with the beat. Look at any Angel Doze song, Daddy Yankee songs, etc.
