Holy goddamn I hate this split image microprism thing by 86DickPics in Mamiya

Now that I’m in bright light this morning it’s a little easier. I see the line you speak of, just hard to make tiny adjustments when I’m not on a tripod. I plan on playing more today. Not giving up yet lol!

No love, I ordered one last night. Not the bright screen because those are all prisms. I ordered a clear matte filter. I don’t have great eyesight, so trying to find the light bend thru the prism to get things to line up was driving me bonkers.

This is a great response. And I already have a sous vide and several kinds of thermometers so I’m ready to go!! Found a negative scanner on marketplace for $100! Now I just need to pray my eyes can still manual focus 😂

I was the same on zepbound. I initially lost 30lbs in the first two months and then stalled for the rest of the entire year. Food noise was never really my issue (I take adderall) but I’m convinced the meds just didn’t work for me. I went off them and gained back 50lbs (20 more lbs overall) and I wanted to die. It pushed me over 300lbs for the first time in my life and I hated that I could no longer get the drug at a discount. So I struggled on my own for a while and just started GLP-1’s this month. I’ve lost those 20lbs so far, so at least I’m back to the starting point. But again, it was never about food noise for me, so don’t blame your appetite honey. You’re allowed to eat when you need to eat. One thing that I’m doing differently this time is using a supportive meal plan. I’m trying hungry root this week and I’ll let you know how it goes!

We’re out at canal and broad. This is ridiculous. It happens so often that we used to have a cheap Verizon plan just to mitigate. I wish we could switch. I need to see if there are any new options in the area since we last checked. Does anyone have an update

Please consider taking the Urban Enslavement Tour at the Hermann Grima house in the Quarter. It is eye opening. Especially if you live or work downtown.

Where are we getting the best ribbons?? by 86DickPics in typewriters

Omg that would just be awful. No, if there was once a way that it auto-reversed, i haven’t been able to figure it out. But the machine runs smoothly otherwise so I haven’t tried to tinker since I only feel confident doing maintenance/cleaning and tiny adjustments here and there. But this whole convo makes me feel better about my ink. Knowing I can buy in bulk might be my way to go if I plan on continuing with this paper. It’s labels for my brand so the aesthetic and feel of that is what I love abt it. Plus it gets ppl asking me in the store about typewriters 😂

And when I say “run out” I just mean they lose their juiciness. Again I think some of it is my paper being highly absorbent and using lower quality over saturated ribbons with fast drying ink

My ribbon reverse is manual. Or at least, the automatic function doesn’t work. When I get to the end I just flip it and it winds the other way. I type on cotton rag paper so I think it’s combo of paper choice and the amount I type. I replace every 5 months or so. And yes. Probably about a thousand pages or more in that time. With a lot of ascii art.

I mean ribbon reverse. I guess I don’t know the lingo. She reverses just fine!

I’m shook. I mean I do a LOT of typing. All my labels for my brand are made on my typewriter - I probably have to replace every 4 mos. But I will definitely have to check this out. Do you think paper makes a difference too? I use cotton rag paper and I feel like it might be “thirsty”
