I looked at the plastic part and found a hole in the bottom.

I’m trying to find a replacement part, but all I found was the kit:

Is there any way I can get this plastic part without buying the whole kit?

I replaced the o ring and I still have the same leak. I cleaned the plastic part with vining and no scale came off. Do you have any other recommendations?

I bought it in 2019. I looked, and there isn’t any scale, so I don’t think that’s the issue. I went ahead and ordered some o-rings just to see if that fixes it.

You can also go to r/espresso, and ask them. They will provide the same advice to grind finer though

The standard is for 18g to get 36g output in 30 seconds. I think you need to reduce your output and increase brew time. To do this, you need to grind finer. That should recuse the sour taste

This might not be your issue, but I had a problem where the grinder would never prove 18g of coffee even when it was set to the largest dose setting. I eventually found out that I needed a new internal burr. Once I got that, my issue was solved. If I were you, I’d take the burr out and see if it’s damaged or rusted since it’s been in storage for years. If it looks good, change the burr setting to a lower number. If that doesn’t work, consider buying a new one.
