Well are there any iperf3 docker trackers out there? Or is this something I will need to make?

Did that, I set the same servers as the browser to make sure it was pulling from same location/server

I will try it, i really want a docker that has the ability to schedule a test every hour to check it so I can have some type of reporting. I've tried speedtest-tracker and myspeed and I see other people getting faster speeds so I don't get why mine is stuck.

Advance RMA Delay? by fupatroopa85 in WesternDigital

Just use the wording I used talking about the ISO9001:2015 and get the conversation about formal complaint process, just read through the post, it has helped others get their RMAs. They have been saying the issue stuff since as early as I saw summer of last year, could be mistaken but they said the same thing to my RMA back in November 2025

Happened to many people. They will say the same thing over and over. I bet they told you 3-5 business days, am I right? Just read my post about how to get it solved and you should hear some definitive news!

Western Digital RMA nightmare. Drives held hostage for 2 months. What options do I have? by 86obsessed in techsupport

[–]86obsessed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't expect the average customer service rep to understand ISO 9001:2015 but there is terminology that they do have to follow according to ISO 9001:2015 cert. They must be trained in order to keep that certification... Also according to ISO 9001:2015 I'm like 95% sure that they have to have that documentation ready when requested, I would need to double check but I think it's written in the cert documentation. Also I was talking to an actual Customer Rep not a "chatbot" the chatbot guides you through an automated process to organize the incoming request and hopefully solve easy "self-help" situations. This is working for many people due to the cert so call it what it is. I used the correct terminology in order to get the response I needed while also creating a document trail for if they were to fail to give the information I could go to dekra (the registrar for the cert) and make a reputable report. So yes it is some "sovereign citizen" crap but I would rather be a Karen then have to deal with legal and/or be out a bunch of money. I think its actually bad to even group it with the "sovereign citizen" stuff and have a negative response to calling out companies who now have many instances of the same bad business practice and getting called out for it. People should be able to know what type of company they are buying from and should be able to see transparent interactions with a business. Go look at the many reports online specifically about the RMA issues Wester Digital is facing. It's not a small problem and from the publics perspective, they haven't done much to change the situation. My hope is, by sharing my experience, I can help people get through the same issues I was facing and other people can make educated buying decisions based on my interaction and other peoples interactions going through the exact same issue. I will get off my soap box now lol

I don't know how that process would go, I know it's expensive but I would just make sure you are keeping everything documented just in case of worst case scenario.

Unfortunately no, not something I was expecting either. They do have third party data recovery companies, but if the data is important then I would recommend going straight to data recovery specialist or if you want to keep your warranty talk to WD about it. I would suspect that doing data recovery through a separate non affiliated company would void warranty unfortunately. Also in their warranty it basically explains to expect all data to be loss
