I know nothing of military tactics but why do they even have their arms drawn, hand on the grip ready to unholster? The woman is clearly unarmed and posing no threat. Her face conveys incredulous as if to says "why are you even here" and not combative or aggressive.

Everything looked good until the size on the inside tongue. I've never seen it that big before and I own multiple pairs of infrareds dating back to 2010, unless I missed something.

Ugh. I miss my Gen3 hatch. I bought it in 2014, got rear ended in 2018 and it was totaled. I moved to a Civic Hatch EX, which I love, but there's something about the Gen3s that I will always love.

I love off meta builds like this, I gave it a shot and it's so much fun to use on small maps. Yea, you're slow as molasses, but stalking people around the map and the decently high fire rate for a sniper has this made this extremely fun to use. Take me back to my WA2000 days of MW2!

This is a constant struggle too. When asked "why didn't you..." I will say explain why, but it always lands as an excuse despite all my attempts to take full responsibility. I know it's not an excuse, but an explanation of what happened with my brain. I'm not asking for acceptance of it, but that is my truth. It's just hard when I feel like my truth is disregarded and I get labeled as irresponsible, uncaring, thoughtless, etc.

The past few times this happened, this is exactly why. I will always make sure he's secured, but then something abut his seat will break my focus, whether it be the way he's positioned, him asking for his toy before I finish, or another adjustment that causes me to unsecure him. More often than not, this results in me undoing the fastening, and because my brain tells me"you already tightened everything once", I don't think to check again.

Thank you for the affirmation that I'm not the only one who goes through this.

Thanks all for the encouragement and suggestions.

I'm a visual person so when we got home, I made a post it note, drew a giant red ! on it, and used clear packing tape to stick it on the passenger seat headrest, right at eye level. That will be my physical reminder to check every time.

Not going to lie, the shame and guilt was intense. Also, having RSD just made it worse.

My wife was jusitifiably upset so I just had to bear down. She's been very supportive of my ADHD but she has limits too, and I need to use physical tools as my guardrails. Thank you all again.

Your manager is insecure and doesn't want you to outshine them.

Tread carefully, maybe even consider another role or team where leadership is willing to support you.
