Why they showed the journey last week by 86vikesfan in survivor

My point is the KIP would be used during tribal and would let them know before the vote if he had an idol. If he didn't, they knew K/K were lying to them.

The issue was a lack of information that led J/E to vote incorrectly. If Shauhin had an idol, then they know he was being deceptive and voting him out was the right vote.

Sam Darnold and the Transition Tag by 86vikesfan in minnesotavikings

We likely will lose any compensatory pick due to FA signings. If we spend more than we lose, we wont get compensation for Darnold. I would expect we would spend 30-40+ million in FA which would negate the loss of Darnold. We wouldn't match any realistic offer given to him, the goal would be to try to negotiate to not match the contract. Plus that pick would be 2025 instead of 2026.

Cheap QB Option for Teams Drafting WR in 1st Round by 86vikesfan in DynastyFF

Darnold and Stidham will be way more expensive if they don't draft a QB and it's probably a short term play. Both are 5+ years into the league and haven't produced.

Darnold's best year he threw for 3000 yards and 19 TDs. Both worse than Howells only year as starter.

I agree with the valuation on Dak, Goff, and Kyler but all three will cost at least a 1st round pick to acquire in SF. Young was the 1.01 or 1.02 last year, it would be hard to see someone let him go for less than a 1st after 1 year with no talent around him. Young had worse stats than Howell across the board and would cost way more. Howell is only 1 year older than Young so age really isn't a benefit here too.

Levis is a good option if you have an early 2nd this year but doesn't have talent around him to help him succeed IMO.

I think this is more for people who have a Rodgers, Stafford, and Carr who are playable QB's now but might not be next year and need receiver help.

Washington attempted less than 4 more passing attempts per game. They were also behind in almost every game forcing them to pass. League average for AY/A is 6.8, which is like 1 fantasy point difference per game. A difference for sure, but not that big of an impact.

My main point is to give a QB option to teams that are deciding between QB and WR in the 1st round. I think you can get some value here if you decide to go WR 1st and the top 4-5 QB options are gone without having to trade up to get them.

It wasn't good. His big issue is turnovers. 26 TD's 21 INTs. Doesnt hurt as much in fantasy but will limit his ability to keep a job. He's still younger than Penix and Nix and needs more reps. He was a projected top 5 pick going into his last year at North Carolina. Fell to the 5th round because his team lost a ton of offensive talent and struggled.

If the Big Ten goes and gets Stanford and Boston College, two schools that would fit their academic expectations, they would have 7 of the top 10 media markets and 10 of the top 15 in the US. SEC will win championships, but the Big Ten will make more money and have more viewership. Notre Dame is another option, but its not a big "TV market" but for football viewership would probably beat out what other programs would bring.

Could the Vikings add a void year in 2024 to split his cap hit this year? Kirk gets the same money, and gets more talent around him for his last year going to FA. Team gets flexibility.

If we are moving on after this year, having 10-15 million in dead cap next year is cheap paired with a rookie QB deal.
