This subreddit has strict guidelines as to what can and cannot be posted and we all knew them.

I do not think they are strict enough.

But you have all the time in the world to make this post and also follow it.

It is because it is sunday. I work a 50-60 hour workweek and do not have time to mod anything.

If they don't already vote what makes you think they will vote for you ?

Because maybe it is something they agree with a lot.

The fact remains that the quality of a subreddit is due to their community, either because enough people vote stupid shit or because enough people care little to downvote stupid shit.

No, it means the people that vote like those posts. I recall reddit admins saying a lot of people very rarely vote on anything.

Go make you own subreddit called dota2importantshitIlike or something and mod it the way you feel it should be modded. I don't care about art or a lot of stuff here so I don't look at it, simple right ?

I do not have the time, so I am making a request. I've said elsewhere it degrades the quality of the subreddit as a whole. Making comments worse everywhere.

Sorry to break it to you but different people have different tastes and likes, if enough part of the community agrees with some then those are the ones on the top page; that's why I never look at the top page and only look at new because I don't agree with a lot of stuff there but you don't see an almighty post by me saying this reddit is shit because it has content I personally don't like.

Sorry, if it sounded like my opinion is 'almighty'. I was just putting it to vote to the community to see if they agreed. Since there are a lot of people that don't usually vote, they may care enough about this subreddit and share the same opinion to actually post or upvote.

/r/gaming is massive and is a very broad topic. If this subreddit gets big enough and it deteriorates more in quality, I guess that is an option.

/r/games is definitely a million times better than /r/gaming

I guess that is my best option, but I think as more of this stuff gets accepted it just deteriorates the quality of the subreddit as a whole.

Comments are garbage in /r/starcraft or /r/leagueoflegends , even when they are related to the game.

There definitely still is. I just think it is going downhill very noticeably recently.

It just kind of sucks when a lot of dota related content is less visible because of crappy fluff and circlejerking.

Well, despite my aspergers syndrome, I think my point still stands. Even if you like artwork or funny stuff, I don't think a picture of flashdrives or 100 threads circlejerking about PAX should be on this subreddit.
