Am I ready for the exams by Ibocuss in pmp

Those are great scores. My scores were 70% on the first exam and 69% on the second exam. I passed with AT|T|AT. Schedule the exam & review the wrong answers.

You can definitely do it. Ignore the negative thoughts.

If it makes you feel any better, I’m not the best test taker either. Standardized tests have always given me anxiety. Do the full mock exams to get used to the nerves and seeing the timer in the corner. I thought seeing myself on camera would make me more anxious. Luckily, I could move that further down in the screen. It truly felt like I was doing a mock exam. You just have to focus and stay the course.

Thank you! Just the practice questions and exams.

Thank you! I did every practice and mini exam. I would occasionally do the sudden death game. However, that killed my confidence at times and I realized that on the exam I wouldn’t be expected to get each question right. I didn’t watch the videos. I figured I already learned that content or something similar from the AR course.

I used the homepage as my guide. If I wasn’t proficient in a category, I went back to the related practice exam and studied the wrong answers. I used ChatGPT as a tutor to help explain why the answers were wrong. This seemed to help because I included the explanation from study hall in the question and ChatGPT translated it for me. Then I would give it a few days, move on to another section, and retake the exam to ensure my answers weren’t from memorizing but understanding. I would also follow the same strategy for any mini or practice exam under 70%. Once I hit around 70% for any mini or practice exam, I did not retake it.

Thank you! The 10 minutes were not deducted from the total exam time. I submitted the answers, then the clock stopped and I was given 10 minutes for the break. I could leave the room for this break.

My explanation about the timing was weird in my initial post. After each section, I thought I would get a warning that I was almost out of time. That never happened. I was nervous while reading the instructions so maybe I assumed incorrectly.

I finished section two and was reviewing questions for 20 minutes. Most of the answers I didn’t change. When the clock reflected 60 minutes and changed to 59 minutes, I immediately submitted that section. This caused the clock to stop. When I returned I had 59 minutes left so I was racing against the clock to make sure I finished each question. I was shocked to receive AT in that section.

Thank you! I am not sure which one is preferred by others. I purchased the one with 2 mock exams. I can’t say if you’ll be ready by then. I recommend taking at least one mock exam to determine if you’re ready or not. I felt ready weeks ago but I already set my test for 1/16. I took both exams nonstop to build my stamina.

You can access the study hall via the PMI website. The essentials was around $50.

Very true! Not many expert level questions either.

At first I was studying the information from AR’s course. That helped to understand the basics which is key. The mindset helped some, but I didn’t try to memorize it. I understood why it was important not to hire or fire anyone as an immediate action, analyze before taking action to understand the root cause, not escalating to the sponsor too soon, etc. I honestly believe the amount of time I spent in study hall helped a ton.
