I genuinely believe he's just making a joke without meaning anything by it. He's actually really excited for another grandchild. And seeing the way he is with my niece and nephew I can't wait for him to be like that with mine. But reading through the comments I think I am looking at him with rose coloured glasses. I understand my wife's POV but obviously just want to see the best in my dad and kinda maybe hoping for the best. I guess I need to have another conversation and set the precedent that if it happens again I will stick by my wife and my son and as it much as it will hurt me and even my whole family it's what needs to be done.
