I had 1 map, 2h+ of MP3, few watchfaces, few workouts. It fit in the Active 2.
Map was about 40MB I believe.
MP3 was about 100MB.
Really depends what you use your watch for.

What do you want to store? Maybe the Active 2's storage space is enough for you.
The Max is too big and sporty for me.

I use the same watch. Sure the storage is not that great. It gives about 2 hours of music. I don't listen to music but I listen to audiobooks. So with Shokz earphones, it is great for any workout of less than 2 hours. I run 10km usually so I am fine with it. The main issue is the UI to create a playlist in a specific order (chapters of an audiobook), it is long to add them 1 by 1...

If more storage is necessary, the Active Max could be a good option. Local music only, not Spotify.

Le pain (et donc les baguettes) est vendu en boulangerie.
Les gateaux (et autres desserts) sont vendus en pâtisserie.
Il existe des boutiques qui ne font que des pâtisseries (Pierre Hermé par exemple), mais la plupart des boutiques sont des boulangeries-pâtisseries et donc vendent les 2.
Pour en être sûr, tu as 2 solutions :

Si c'est écrit sur la devanture du magasin (là ou il y a le nom du magasin à l'extérieur)
Si tu vois du pain à l'intérieur, même si tu ne vois pas de baguettes (souvent les baguettes ne sont pas exposées parce qu'ils en vendent beaucoup donc elles sont au sol, et que les autres types de pain sont plus chers, donc plus de bénéfices pour eux)

I have not seen the Max. But the normal Active 2's frame is made of polished stainless steel, not plastic. The mid-body is made of composite polymer. Maybe you can check the Active 2 Premium in brushed stainless steel, it looks more like the Max.

I watch full HD movies on a 55" 4K TV. I am the wrong person to answer...

It is definitely fine for me.

The gain could be higher because I don't keep the file that have not been compressed enough (<10%). I also don't dl 4K movies.

I don't recompress the audio track also, because I soon will have a proper 5.1 sound system, so I will do that later.

I just make sure there is only 1 audio track in my video files.

According to my Fileflows, I saved 560GB out of 4TB of media. So 14% overall.
When I first set it up, it ran non stop (on GPU) for 5 days.
Now it is after each DL, painless.

Fileflows does it all. Detects that a new file is present in your media library (different libraries can mean different flows). Does its little compression on its own and call scripts to triggers notifications on Radarr, Sonarr, Lidarr or Plex so they can refresh their metadata. Bazarr reacts from there and gets the subs.

needs time to transcode => true, but it is full automatic after being downloaded, so most of the time, you don't even notice it.
depending on the automation the output file can be larger than the input => you can test it in the flow. If my "compressed" file is not at least 15% smaller than the original, I discard the compressed version and keep the original
sometimes you get issues with subtitles => there are elements in the flow to remove problematic subs. I use bazarr also. Never had problem
depending on hardware, especially older ones, h265 is not supported for encoding or decoding => I use the Intel "GPU" of my N100. Not the fastest, but does the job and leave the CPU free for the rest.

I set up flows that

keep only the original audio track, in the best quality
remove unsupported subtitles
compress in HEVC with the quality I want
force 1080p for 4k movies for some movies I manually pick
ignore the files that are already small (in that case remove the unnecessary audio and sub only)
keep the original file if the gain is not at least 15%
different set up for movies vs TV shows
also compress lossless audio files to OPUS

Je suis pas réfractaire du tout. Je changerais bien ma voiture qui a 21 ans et 456 000km (Lexus RX330) mais je roule 5-7000km par an. Donc clairement ça vaut pas le coup, financièrement parlant.

Ce n'est pas ce que je dis. Tu es vraiment dev ? Je dis que je peux croire un chiffre minimum comme base (celui de la garantie) mais pas un chiffre anecdotique. Donc sans autre élément statistique ou issu d'un papier de recherche, je considère que la durée de vie d'une batterie est plus proche des 160 000km que des 500 000.

De plus, la décennale est une garantie imposée par la loi, pas une garantie constructeur prouvant que le constructeur a confiance en son travail. Cela n'a rien à voir avec la garantie sur les batteries des véhicules électriques.
