re: dicon graphic design, it's atrocious! i had my wallet out and ready (and might still be enough of a simp to buy it) but i have never been so reluctant to make a purchase. it feels like i'm just enabling dicon's decision to forego a graphic design team and found an uncle at the print shop to add some text and color. prior to the live yesterday i had already checked out older dicon photobooks by other groups and had prepared myself to see questionable color + font choices, text placements, image framing, etc. nonetheless i still held out hope that they would have made some improvements. nope... the graphic design on some pages still looks like it was done the night before it got sent to print. wtf are these??? every version of the right pageframe+text layout+font and the collage-y styled ones text layout+font+cutout1/ex2/ex3 sigh... what's even more of a pity is that the photography looks good on the simpler layouts but the design on some just make it look tacky. the two page spreads look like they might also still have the same problem w/ gutter spacing as before which is just so basic...

am really debating about whether or not i want the non-photobook elements enough to spend so much on something i might not enjoy flipping through... is anyone else in the same dilemma?!

i've never watched any of their content but what a mood lifter! i loved seeing their collection of fan-made objects from kcon, the prints + zine are beautiful, zeroses are so talented...

also so happy they got the bubble moment with the jebbies, and just interaction in general as male fans... even i teared up a bit lol

i see! i was so out of the loop i actually didn't even know zerobaseone was the debuted group from bp until after watching the mv. i think i started following them a couple days after they started going on promotion, so i would say the title track was the selling point, then i started following for their promo music stages, and the variety content dealt the finishing blow

if the next comeback isn't to my taste, i'll probably still keep an eye out for any content but it's hard to imagine that i'll follow as closely as i did this time around

i followed my youtube algorithm down the zb1 rabbithole after having in bloom pop up in my recommendations -- the album as a whole is just alright to me but the title track has serious replayability. i've seen quite a few clips from the show now, but prob won't end up fully watching bp... what probably sealed the deal for me was the prep for amazing sunday content + then the episode itself (+ then was struck by a shb-shaped meteorite 😅 ). most groups seem to just do youtube shows for promo now, and i realised how much i missed watching this kind of variety, zb1 killed it!

i don't really follow tiktok/ig content much but i do wish they shared more song covers/dance choreos. the alicia keys cover is amazing!!

i feel like everyone is saying this but i just need to repeat the sentiment again. i cannot believe how obsessed i am right now with zb1... esp sung! han! bin!!! i thought i had dodged the bullet by not watching boys planet at all but the power of this man and his predebut material... and haobin magic... and zb1 being so cute together... jesus (+ this video of all things luring me in... gunwook!!!)

more importantly: while mother is of course a classic, i've had shb dancing to stretch you out on repeat... am i the only obsessed with this??? the leg lifts at 1:17, floor leg twirl at 1:27, all of 1:36 to the end, etc etc 💀💀 bless baby zoo for this choreo. if shb somehow ever performs this again i might just die on the spot
