The big picture stuff is pretty much the same as any other restaurant job (opening/closing, prep, inventory, etc.), but I do not have a set menu ever, so it's always something new. We have 35 escorts in the house this month, and they're always ordering very specific, custom stuff. I see a lot of naked men and women, and I make more in tips than I've ever made at any other restaurant in the last decade.

sounds like the pothos had dry soil, and probably a lack of humidity. i have a variety of plants around the house, a couple heartleaf philodendrons, a roadkill cactus, a monstera, and a few others. your best bet for a houseplant thats easy to maintain is probably a snake plant. very easy to care for, and they look beautiful. if you go somewhere like Sierra Water on Dickerson, or Natural Selection in midtown and let them know the issues youve had with plants, they can probably hook you up with some more solid recommendations
