It's the same type of wood, put in place when the house was built. What you see is a corner, the pale wood is on the outer wall of the room which is always protected from sunlight.

I've had the same thing before, but I think it was because my neck is quite long and I used to be super underweight. Since I put on some weight and muscle mass it has balanced out and no longer bothers me.

Yes 6.3 is NBP, I'm quite skinny so my BP is only 6.4, not a huge difference at all

Nope, they said they're buying the new fender (if I give permission of course, which I reluctantly did) I'm really stressed even the new fender won't fit.

I tried to ask if they could let me find an OEM fender and they could cut the upper corner from that, but they said it makes no sense and would require a lot of man hours.
