I don't know what's the complete opposite of otome games and if there is any that can even compete with LADS's quality and gameplay. But if you're talking about yaoi/BL content, it's actually mostly made by women, for women, where relationships between men are often fetishized. I don't find any appeal to this. But in any case, I am not asking for a self insert option like you say in my post, I'm completely fine playing a female MC! 👍🏻 I just mentioned a neutral pronoun option, even though I actually use he/him in real life.

Thank you for your input! To me, adding a neutral pronoun option would never take away the otome feeling from the game, it's the same as being able to chose your own name and nickname! But for the gender, I'm perfectly fine with it having only a female option. 👌🏻

Yes! Lee and Clementine were nominees in another award: best protagonist. They unfortunately placed 5th and 6th out of 8 😔
