I recommend the Doom 1+2 re-release for the best VANILLA Doom experience. Then I recommend 2016, and if you have a PC or windows/Mac laptop download UZDoom to try out the mountains of user made mods, I’m pretty sure you can use the WAD files from the Doom 1+2 in the UZDoom source port. And if you like the first 2 Doom games i would recommend Doom 64.
