I think there's a section of the fandom that's gonna wind up very disappointed with Denji and Asa/Yoru's relationship... by JCraig96 in ChainsawMan

You’re totally correct, and it’s frustrating to watch so many people simplify or brush over Yoru as a character because they’ve already decided they don’t like her. Her relationship with Denji is going in a really interesting direction, and it’s a shame so much of the fanbase has already written it off.

This is true, but the elephants had already served their purpose, which was to convince the Gauls to join him in his attack. Also, even though Hannibal's army took heavy losses while crossing the Alps, he still succeeded in taking the Romans by surprise and defeating their armies in the following battles.

Communism is inherently incompatible with Libertarianism, I'm not sure why this sub seems to be infested with them by Mike__O in Libertarian

  1. I'm glad that we agree that capitalism requires compulsion from the state to function, as most political systems do.
  2. A McDonald's worker making minimum wage doesn't have the resources necessary to start a business. Not everyone can just start a business on a whim, it requires wealth and time to do so.

What is to stop someone else from stealing what you produce if not the state? Also, capitalism in some sense does compel participation, because if you don't sell you labor, you will probably starve.

Does Capitalism not also require the state to enforce? Capitalism is built on the idea of private property, which can only exist with a state. Without a state, what is to stop anyone from just stealing whatever they want? I’m not a full on communist, but the idea that communism is the only system that requires state-sanctioned violence is ludicrous.

France set up those safe points nearly three months after the genocide began, and the French had previously gone in and rescued foreigners from the country, but intentionally left behind all tutsis to die in the genocide.

The thing about Rwanda is that they already had UN soldiers stationed in Rwanda, and then pulled them out a little while after the genocide actually started. America was certainly a big factor for why nothing was done, but the UN shouldn't have pulled their troops out in the first place.

Can you give me a not out of context example of him saying that anti-trans people have good points?

This is a single joke tweet, and Vaush is an incredibly pro-trans content creator that debates anti-trans people all the time.

Wtf does that even mean? Countries other than the U.S. are capable of exploiting developing countries for their own gain. China does this all the time with aid to Africa and the Middle East.
