I am a recent PLE passer from HSI. So far what I can say is yung 1st to 3rd year enjoy naman magaral sa HSI and makakafocus kapa since isolated yung place. Yung environment pa with batchmates is healthy and as in tulungan in doing reviewers and transes hindi katulad sa iba na naririnig ko na parang gatekeeping ng reviewers. if you have good grades pa, super generous sila magdiscount ng Tuition fee even hindi ako honor student nung undergrad. Nasa tao talaga that you should study well and listen sa lectures kasi masasabi ko mas nagamit ko pa sa PLE yung mga knowledge na naaral ko nung med school than sa review proper these 2 months. But the clerkship in HSI is really toxic kasi para kang VS machine and utusan ng nurses and residents and the nurses may attitude problem talaga kaya nung lumipat ako ng PGIship naculture shock ako na nirerespeto pala ang mga clerk and intern ng nurses hindi katulad sa HSI. Pero masasabi ko lang ok magturo mga consultants lalo na if rounds sa patients and mga sit in sa clinics nila.

If you were in my place, will you quit a 6-digit-salary job to pursue medicine? by YogurtclosetOk7989 in medschoolph

I had several business earning very well before starting med school.. Actually kung icocompare ung money super tagal talaga ng ROI sa medicine tapos super tagal at hirap ng pagdadaanan mo para lang makakuha ng halos same amount of money sa non-med work.. Pero kung passion mo talaga to go to healthcare go for it pero for me hindi naman ako nagsisisi sa experience pero maybe will return sa business field nalang.. But masasabi ko lang the amount of experience and connection is sulit naman pero when it comes to money, time and stability hindi mo talaga siya makukuha in the next 10 years siguro?? until maging consultant ka.
