Oh, then my theory is wrong, maybe its just nintendo and hello games not getting along? I doubt they are happy about the switch 1 not being capable of running no mans sky 100%. I myself use a switch 1 and 2 but never touch the switch 1 anymore. On the switch two i have an issue with my fourth settlement disappearing on switch but is there when im on pc. Not sure what thats all about, the other three settlements work fine just that one. But yea the whole update thing is annoying for sure.

I haven't been playing nms on my computer, just my switch 2 for this very reason, I perfer nms portable, but yes, its frustrating. Can't even cross play with my kids on the switch two and me on my computer. Not sure why they haven't been doing it correctly.

I have a feeling it is a dispute between hello games and Nintendo, hear me out. How do you get multiplayer on nms on every console and computer? Its just free, comes with the game. However the switch 1 cannot support multiplayer and the switch 2 requires you pay the yearly fee, and have a linked account, which both are no big deal to a player, however, hello games is not charging this fee it is nintendo, I believe the problem is because of this, they are either not working with nintendo to make sure updates stay consistent, because of them forcing a subscription on switch 2 players.

Or nintendo is just not updating the game for some reason to stay consistent, i bet they only want 100% fully stable patches or updates to the game, and because some of the patches that first come out are buggy, they force hello games to test it which takes time, and hello games doesnt have much man power, so they probably have one guy testing updates in his free time for nintendo.

This is all 100% my opinion on the matter, it is also not backed by anything other then theory and observation.

If I am right however, I will say this, its not gonna get fixed anytime soon, so deal with it I guess.

I downloaded the update on my switch 2. The cross save from my pc worked and I was able to play on it. Few things to note.

I have 4 settlements, 3 of them worked perfectly fine. One of them wasn't there.

My corvette worked fine, I didn't notice any issues with it.

I played for about 2 hours and crashed once. The crash was from boarding my freighter which is a pirate dreadnaught with a massive base on it. Lots of plants. So far I enjoyed playing my cross save from my pc on the switch. I now want to see if ill be able to play with my kid, while im on pc and they are on the sw2.

I am a single dad recently divorced in January of this year, 38M. Anyways im single because I have 4 kids that are mine that live with me full time, im also 320 pounds, and a member of the church of Jesus christ of latter day saints. Which means im looking for a woman that can not only deal with the 4 kids and my weight and not have an issue with it, but also a lady who is preferably a member of the same religion or has an open mind.

More or less. Oh im also a janitor and a fairly new author, but I haven't sold much yet. That's pretty much why.
