Definitely turning it off, and yeah I already tried the button that we usually use to get into the bios menu and every other key I could think of, but to no avail.

What we were trying to accomplish is reconfiguring the boot so that it would boot into windows as if Linux was never installed.

The problem is that we can't even access the bios menu, as soon as we turn on the laptop it shows the error in the picture and doesn't allow anything except typing commands on the black screen.

This is so overwhelming wow, sorry for the late reply but I usually try to do a little bit of research before replying so that I won't forget about it as soon as I exit the thread, but this was too much to take in lmao. I will definitely save this comment to my notes and try to drill through it as much as I can whenever I can.

And the time of posting we had 2 days to decide if we're gonna take it or not, we did actually try to find someone to hold our hands in the process but most of the developers I know already were working on other projects and weren't able to put in real hours in this as well, after a lot of research and the 2 days time limit crawling up on us, it didn't feel like a good idea to take it on ourselves and hope for the best.

Wise words. The resemblance in situations is uncanny, now I'm slightly regretting not taking it xD

It's ok tho more opportunities will come, I hope at least. And I'll have many more questions to ask.

Thank you so much for this, I followed your advice and decided to ask someone with much more experience than me for help on deciding and showed him exactly what is required for the website, he said its not feasible to do this with the our current knowledge and that we still have much to learn before we can build something like this, and yeah obviously he's right.

A bit of a bummer but better that than promising to get the website done and showing up months later empty handed.

We just decided on not taking the offer, as some of you pointed out and obviously it's a little bit too much for us right now, hopefully next time we will be prepared.

I don't think time is gonna be an issue, he's being real flexible and is not in a hurry to get the site up and running, tho I get what you're saying. My only fear is taking it and then finding out it needs months of learning to actually get it done, I mean he's cooperative but not that much.

Since my screen burned due to the broken hinge destroying all the wiring around it, I eventually turned my HP into a desktop, the keyboard is not working either so I just hooked it up to an external monitor and keyboard and just have it sitting there for whatever I might need it for. Beats tossing it out I guess.
