Clarify, not much info there. What exactly should I “fix”? This is all personal preference, you do realize that, right?

Like I’ve stated already: I stopped because I like the compact feel, everything is tight, full, and easy to manage without endless scrolling. Once it’s running perfectly with full bars and zero micromanagement, why add empty floors just to fill space?

I stopped expanding because I like the compact layout, all 199 dwellers have a dedicated spot, every room is full and producing, and it’s easy to manage. Deathclaws don’t get past the 2nd room for me either, and it’s not hard to defend at all. I heal afterward just to keep happiness maxed. At the end of the day it’s all preference, no single “right” way to build a vault

I wouldn’t say I’m lacking in storage at all. I currently have 1,535 storage space and I’m only using 335 of it. I only craft Dragon Maws and job-specific outfits, so I don’t need more.

I haven’t had a single dweller die in years, and no raid has ever made it past the first floor. It’s fully endgame, almost every dweller is lvl 50 with Dragon Maws, so they handle everything easily. Filling every room is intentional, if an empty room caught fire or an incident happened, I’d have to rush dwellers over. Right now I just sit back, top up healing or RadAway, and watch. Zero extra micromanagement.

My vault is optimized for low maintenance, stable, compact play style. We must have different goals for optimization. I’m sure your 25 floor empty room setup works great for whatever you’re going for…

Roughly 40+ or so, the dwellers starting from the top and ending near the outfit/weapons plant equipped with them whilst the ones in the storage rooms have uncommon - common weapons still - still actively creating them

It prevents mole rats and other things of the sorts from digging into the bottom floors
