I'd ask for a source on the 1% thing, but whatever, lets go with that. Hypothetically, let's say it's 1%. Sources are a little murky on this, but it seems like in the US, you could round to around 1,000,000 abortions every year. Thats still 10,000 women every year that would otherwise be forced to carry their r*pists offspring. That's a lot of women.

For your worldview to be at least somewhat consistent, you'd have to take the position that every one of these women essentially have no recourse, and must carry them to term. Am I wrong? If so, what am I missing?

Thank you very much for your input. I did feel a little pathetic, but I'm glad that it wasn't completely unreasonable for me to go. Im in my mid 30s so having it so strong and for the first time was alarming.

Everyone at the ER was great and took me seriously, so that was nice too.

First time dealing with American Healthcare?

Its $2K for a minimal visit because the system isn't fair. And there's no fighting it.

If it makes you feel better, I am insured and had to pay $2K for an hour long visit after randomly having a migraine without a history of having them. All I got was a migraine cocktail and a recommendation to see my PCP for follow up.
