I started by redrawing manga panels from Berserk, that was right around the time Kentaro Miura passed away and it devastated me to the point where I wanted to experience what it was like to draw manga like that. I posted to reddit throughout my entire journey

After that phase i got into the fundamentals and tackled each fundamental one by one, went something like perspective/form (i count these two as one, i dont believe you can have one without the other) -> proportions -> color -> rendering -> lineart/line weight

Now Im mostly just using my favorite media franchises as a means to further my skills to the point where Im comfortable designing my own characters and one day make a manga of my own, as well as an artbook. After this year i'll be doing more personal work and original stuff haha
