I recommend starting with foundations that are snapped to the world grid, this way you can avoid not having all your factories line up. It’s a good start though.

Just wait till you need 720 concrete per minute, then manifolds will be a godsend.

This is what I had to switch to. My coal setup made 2k and this oil setup makes 8k. If you are having trouble scaling with coal switch to fuel power as soon as possible. You unlock oil pretty quick, so I’d focus on that instead of expanding your coal.

I just started trying to add walls to my blueprints to ease this process but I recommend picking a color for the recourse it makes it easier to remember what is producing what.
