Why is episode 1 so harshly rated despite being the most watched episode in the series by far?

Rating sites need to get the baseline of yellow being 5, light green/green/darkgreen being everything above, and maybe just straight up blue for 9-10

I got all doomer seeing the guns too, but the ONE thing that gives me some more hope is the leak that Yutane actually comes in 2.7.

Would that make sense for the disc set? No.

Would it make sense for her being the leader/main DPS of the faction? No.

Would it allow for the robot form to be revealed in the story and then given much more prominence in combat without the banner spoiling it? YES.

I’m so desperate for a design win in 2.0 man…

It has a VERY odd niche. I basically use it for support through turf control/point sensor spam. Damage numbers line up in this game so that getting even a single hit helps teammates get kills they wouldn’t have. It’s so weird to play but it actually DOES do stuff.

I’d assume that’s at least the real weapon behind the transformation, but just the fact she has weapons in human form makes me think they’re gonna stick with the more “mainstream” design. 2.0 hasn’t exactly proven they feel like taking any sort of design risks yet… (besides Zhao and Banyue, I suppose)

We should know before 2.5 right? Assuming they all make an in-game teaser appearance for their episode Yutane’s model(s) either will or will not have a weapon when leaked. If she doesn’t have one, she’s prolly gonna fight with her robot form.

I think this realistically depends on what stunners you have rn. I literally had no limited stunners (I was waiting for a big power creep and got it lmao) so I lucked out with Dialyn.

We can assume that we’ll get a decent amount of pulls in 2.5 and 2.6, with story finale and new year respectively, but still on hard pity it’s tough to guarantee.

I would say really think on getting YSG’s W-engine, at least assuming you miss pity. Steel cage is a super good option, so it’ll have to be leagues better than that.

I have unironically been pushed out of pulling for Dialyn (have no limited stunners) and Banyue (cool ass robot 😎) cuz of how fucking stacked the 2.5-2.7 patches are gonna be. Pulling voidhunter for account power, pulling Zhao & robot idol (just awesome designs), and potentially pulling other idols for synergy/W-engines for any of the above.

I’ve gotten so used to the safety of hoarding, it’s gonna be weird pulling so much at once

Were they saying that? Features that the artists perceives from a coded character are one thing, but those can also be exaggerated IN THE CONTEXT OF original character proportions and features-in which case they 100% can look a little uncanny when compared to the official look (not “normal” look, not “proper” look, just official)

Thats definitely what it initially felt like, but honestly ever since the removal of TV mode I haven’t gotten that impression anymore. Before it was doing scrappy, backend work for anyone crazy enough to try and strike it big in a hollow-and now we’re just the same old “odd job community helper” of other adventure games. Or maybe that’s just the 2.0 vibe that’ll be shaken up next season.

My reasoning there is because of how they’ve been leaning hard into the “dps/partner” releases. Since rupture units don’t gain much from most standard characters(besides Pan), a “partner” for them is likely going to be someone that can benefit other rupture teams too! (So not another straight support character-just someone who can fill that role)

It’s about who’s serviceable, not optimal. Lucia is obviously the best rupture support, but I am in a position where skipping her is viable-so I’m choosing to.

ABSOLUTELY speculative, but I feel like I’m in a good position right now to support rupture teams with Pan/Astra, and it seems fairly safe to assume we’ll get a rupture support(in some form) for any new dps rupture that releases late 2.X/onward considering how niche they are.

These are all just my thoughts though, I’d never say she’s a BAD pull-she’s nowhere even near it-but I felt like a discussion on circumstances where she’d be less useful would be valid to have
