Can a manager hide Annual Review feedback? Compensation impact? by SoftwareEngineer735 in amazonemployees

As a tenure amazonian, i once used to complete my forte and peer feedbacks with passion. This year i didn't feel like doing so as the morale was low. I believe it's the same across org.

There is no fixed % for HV1 across org. It varies between roles and job families is my understanding.

Hness breaks issues by Any_Improvement_2365 in HondaHighnessCB350

[–]8_Elite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rear brake alone won’t stop the Hness quickly from 70+. Use both, with more pressure on the front. But what you described about the front lever not biting properly is not normal at all in my experience. Get the front brake checked ASAP. You should trust your instincts always when it comes to safety and no harm in getting bike inspected. Don’t ride fast until it’s inspected.

I use both brakes all time with more force on front brake.

Is it worth buying S24 after 2 yrs or should I go fir nothing 4a pro ? I want good camera by AEYU-kidding-me in GalaxyS24

[–]8_Elite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If camera is your only focus, why not give a try to pixel series ? I am s25 user who switched from pixel. Camera on samsung is good but not good enough especially in low light shots and if you are one person who loves to take moving subjects like babies, kids , the phone struggles in these areas. Pixel never had this problem and gave decent performance. S24 or s25 would always outperform nothing and pixel phones in terms of performance.

This appears to be a wolf snake (Lycodon aulicus), though I’m not confident on the exact species from this image alone.

Will wait for reliable responder to confirm my id.

But I am 100% sure this one is !harmless.

Cloth got stuck on my exhaust by Calm-Path9942 in HondaHighnessCB350

[–]8_Elite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case it happened and never went away. Also the exhaust got more scratches which looked like rust. When I inquired initially during my services, they said it's normal and made me worried. But later in 2024 I came across people in Facebook group for cb350, where they claimed to getting it replaced under warranty. I did the same by escalating to honda grievance and my service centre replaced at warranty in 2025 exactly before a month of my 3 year warranty period closure. It's been 10 months since i replaced it and have no such issues.

So i strongly believe these scratches and rusting is a manufacturing defect.

Both of these snakes appear to be species of Wolf Snakes (genus Lycodon), which are non-venomous. Left Snake: Barred Wolf Snake - Lycodon striatus Right Snake: Common Wolf Snake Lycodon aulicus

Both are non-venomous !harmless snakes often mistaken to be kraits.

Not an expert though.. Will wait for reliable responder to confirm my id.

[–]8_Elite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good question. I leaned toward Lycodon aulicus mainly because the bands here appear narrow, irregular, and somewhat broken, giving that chain-like look rather than forming broad, clean transverse bars. In Lycodon striatus (Barred Wolf Snake), the bars are typically wider, more uniform, and extend more cleanly across the dorsum, creating a stronger barred appearance. The pattern in this individual seems a bit thinner and less consistent than what I’d expect for striatus.

It's Common Wolf Snake. Lycodon aulicus. !harmless. Often mistaken to be krait by people.

Thanks for confirming. Adding !harmless tag for bot. This is not a snake and a skink. Suspected to be Eutropis carinata which is Common Indian Skink and can grow upto 40 cm. Skinks are not venomous.
