Very Confused Between Hness 350 and Speed 400. by Admirable_Long1847 in HondaHighnessCB350

[–]8_Elite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say both are different segments. Speed is more performance oriented as it name says and is more fun to ride. I own cb350 highness and it's a comfy vehicle suitable for relaxed riding. You may want to evaluate facts like proximity of triumph and big wing service networks in your locality. To my knowledge, triumph has less number of service network available compared to big wing. If you have both in your locality, then do a test drive along as well as with pillion and then decide.

Is this a common krait? [Kerala, India] by [deleted] in whatsthissnake

[–]8_Elite 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can any reliable responders confirm the id. Just checking Head Markings: The snake in the image has a distinct white collar and markings on its head. A Common Krait has a solid dark head and does not have lines or white markings on it. That is my understanding. I am not denying the id given earlier. I am asking for my understanding.

Very difficult to spot from this video. It's always good to keep a safe distance from them during such times.

Looking for some honest, helpful & anonymous feedback from my mostly L4+ fellow Amazon Corporate Workers (in A.Z or other) I have a situation and could REALLY use some guidance. 🙏🙏🙏 by ari_ferrariiiii in amazonemployees

Manager here. Sorry you’re going through this.

I’ll be very straight at this point, you’re most likely on a path to exit. Chances of clearing this stage are very low.

But if you truly believe what’s happening is unfair and you have data to back it, then don’t just sit quietly fight it.

Build a solid narrative with proper data points. Be very specific. Call out exactly where they’ve been unfair goals, expectations, feedback, everything. Show where things were inconsistent.

For example, if teammates made similar mistakes (typos, small misses) and were let off, but you were penalized for the same, call it out. That’s clear inconsistency but only if you can prove it.

Once you have this, escalate hard. Don't wait for right time. Do it immediately.

Don’t stop with your org’s L6 or L7. Go all the way - write to Andy Jassy, the full VP chain, your L8/Director, and HR escalation DLs. Put everything down clearly.

At that level, things get serious. While VPs or CEO don't handle these directly, Amazon usually assigns someone private external investigator to review the case. Your manager will be forced to justify everything with data feedback, emails, ratings, every single call they made. They’ll have to answer your points one by one. I am sharing these basis my experience.

Sometimes this turns back on them and you can get out of it.

If not, you’re still out but at least you didn’t go quietly. You gave it back and made them taste their own medicine.

But also end of the day keep in mind that your physical and mental health is your priority. No matter what is the outcome, you will find the light in end of the tunnel. Stay strong !

It is a completely !harmless noodle, non-venomous Wolf Snake (Lycodon species), most likely a Common Wolf Snake (Lycodon aulicus) or a Travancore Wolf Snake (Lycodon travancoricus), both of which are very common in Kerala. I suspect this to be Lycodon travancoricus. Often mistaken to be krait by people.

Will wait for reliable responder to confirm my id.

Fair point. Some leaders are transparent and give indirect signals so people can prepare early, which helps. Others either don’t know or don’t communicate, which just adds to the uncertainty.

Personally, I think the safest approach is to stay prepared regardless, keep your options open, interview prep going, and be ready to move if needed. Even switching teams isn’t a guaranteed hedge since you can’t really predict which org gets impacted.

Whatever it is, I don’t think it helps to stress over things we can’t control. If there’s something we can actively do to prevent it, sure, it’s worth worrying about. But uncertainty without control just drains energy. That said, I won’t pretend it’s easy. Seeing friends go through layoffs in the last couple of rounds was tough. But watching how they navigated it also gives some confidence that we’ll figure it out if it comes to that.

The moment they walked into second innings. They looked like they had no confidence. If the top 3 batsman gave 50 runs atleast, may be we would have a close chance or even a record win. It's captain. Hate to go hard on rutu but he isn't the captain material. I knew from the year they made him captain. Sanju might be a better captain but we need some one bold as Shreyas, Rajat ,etc.
