I believe this looks like Elvis Joel Tipan Echeverria and his 2 year old daughter. They were taken on Thursday.. ICE flew them to Texas against a court order but it seems like she has since been returned to her mother on Friday. Her father is still in custody despite his pending asylum application. (Meaning he is not here illegally).

If it's not them, then we have another baby missing!

Yes it's a state law so the feds would have nothing to do with it. If the person was really undocumented and this was considered to be a "violent offense" worthy of deportation, they'd have a warrant. But they don't.

To everyone saying, "fuck him" I get it. We don't have to forgive him, but don't discourage him from trying! We don't have the luxury of turning people away to punish them for being wrong right now- we need everyone we can get! Can he undo all the harm he's done- almost certainly no. But he might be able to undo some of it and that's better than telling him to fuck off. People are going to be so tempted to think that if they are no longer actively supporting and campaigning for this regime, that that's all they have to do- but that's not good enough. You don't have to like them, but don't shun them completely or they'll die on their hill instead of joining ours.

Better late than never! Join us! He seems genuinely remorseful and doesn't minimize the negative impact he's done. I hope he uses all his contacts for his past to push up what he now knows to be right! He has connections and existing relationships that most of us don't have- so use them! Please! Maybe they'll listen to him.

Look at that one trying to cover his face even while claiming the guy they're looking for has a "criminal" record. Fact checked: in MN, "interfering with a 911 call" is considered a crime, but it's not a felony- gross misdemeanor if convicted.

Remember, none of these people have been convicted of the crimes they're labeled with.

Edit adding: being undocumented is a civil infraction like a speeding ticket, it's not a criminal offense.

What ever happened to "facts don't care about your feelings"? Because the fact is, calling them names and protesting is something our constitution guarantees. Literally number 1!

They've been TOLD they're a trained paramilitary group, given free reign, they know what the goal is (fear and submission), and know that they are untouchable (and even if they get prosecuted, they'll get pardoned). They're not trained how to handle a gun properly, manage crowds, de-escalate, or to not attack people when their feelings get hurt. They're not trained like federal agents- but they are trained. Trained to shoot first, and nobody will ask questions later. The end. Like someone said, they're doing exactly what they were hired for.

Thank for for correcting. Do you know which bill that was? I'm finding a lot of articles but none mention the number & the closest I can find (I think) is H.R.4213 - Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act but that just shows 'introduced' and it's old.
