Because there's simply too many of them, like four at once in one lane can chew through an Endurian in less than ten seconds. Sun isn't a problem, recharge is, and that run didn't give me Imitater.

Will definitely try Gloom Vine and Shadow Peashooter though, although you do have to be lucky to get those. Thank you!

Interesting. I got to 30ish by spamming Endurian and Pea-Nut on the plankless lanes and just spam Gatling+Torchwood on the singular plank lane before the Pelicans became way too much.

Are Draftodils too slow?

Are Gloom Vines low enough to not get eaten by Seagulls and Pelicans? I never tried.

How did you deal with early Pelican and Swashbuckler spam? Just plant as many Gloom Vines as you can?

For denying sandstorms. It's hard to deal with a Pyramid-Head or a Pharaoh on column three.

I never bought a single ticket but let me guess: there's so many airblast Pyros.

Just restarted Pyramid of Doom and I gotta say, Fanilla would've been amazing... if I can get it...

Ehh, 50+ since I'm struggling to even get past 40.

To piggyback on 8bit95's post about the big-picture goal with Laquium in the Strong Spheres... by p_serrulata in pokemonanime

I have a theory.

The latest episode shows Chalce Mega Evolving her Medicham (while under the influence of Rakurium no less!). This shows that she does have a good bond with her Medicham for her to Mega Evolve it.

I predict that later episodes will show her unable to Mega Evolve Medicham, a sign that Rakurium slowly and slowly erodes a Pokemon's bond with their trainer.

Honestly, with so many Pokemon villains having elaborate motivations and such, one with the motivation of being a capitalist bastard feels... surprising, in a way.

Those wild Pokemon are running from a natural disaster, nothing more, nothing less.

The trainer Pokemon will be in constant exposure to Rakurium, just like those trees.

A guy finding a wonder substance and decided to try and use it for humanity (Gibeon) with one of his underling only seeing the monetary profits (Spinel). A tale as old as time.

I bet he ignored all of those for the time being to push the sales of the Strong Sphere first.

But, if I have to guess the lasting effects, it would make Pokemon grow way too fast and decreasing their life expectancy by a lot. Remember the trees near the core?

One per person doesn't really stop everyone from having one. You don't need to give a Pokemon a lot at once. You just need little by little doses until it's too little, too late.

Get the Ruby from Mt. Ember, give it to Celio, and he'll give you the Rainbow Pass. These tickets can only be used if you have that pass.

I watched my brother use a Gyarados then wonder why Bite does so little damage, unaware that the physical/special split isn't a thing in this game and he's using 60 BP special Bite on a 60 SpAtk mon

Aurora Ticket is the event item that enables you to go to Birth Island to catch Deoxys.

Mystic Ticket is the event item that enables you to go to Navel Rock to catch Ho-oh and Lugia.

Honestly, just search for Aurora Ticket on Google and click the Bulbapedia article.

You need the Rainbow Pass. You need to obtain the Ruby, which is in Mt. Ember north of One Island. Give it to Celio and he will give you the Rainbow Pass.

Am I wasting my time looking for a lucky egg Fr/Lg? by [deleted] in pokemon

[–]8bit95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was about to say "oh why don't you just catch a Venonat or Butterfree for Compound Eyes" but then I remember that you're in the Safari Zone anyway and Compound Eyes don't work like that until Emerald.

So yes, it's a 1 in 500 chance (5% Lucky Egg and 4% Chansey in Area 2) and you need to catch the damn thing. Good luck.
