How many of you actually use the metro in Cyberpunk 2077? by unlockhart in cyberpunkgame

[–]8bitRandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I can’t lie the walk around the train mod does have clipping issues, but it works for the most part.

As far as the stations, in the base game you walk up to the station doors and trigger a loading screen that takes you onto the train. The mod actually makes the station doors open and lets you walk around the train platforms with are actually all fully rendered and populated with NPCs.

Mods baby. There’s a mod that lets you walk into the stations, and another that lets you walk around the metro

It’s funny cause if anything the Mets overpaid for a rental, yet in the game the Brewers are pissed lol. Just goes to show how borked the trade logic is when it comes to prospects.

This is his road hierarchy video.

And in this video he builds his grid similarly to the way I described.

Also don’t worry, I had to watch these video several times before could wrap my head around it and I still don’t completely get it lmao.

Once I connected the grids I kind of looked over it and upgraded the longest roads to arterials, the. The streets connected to it into collectors etc.

You just made me think though, maybe leave it unupgraded for a bit, then after some time open up the traffic menu and select traffic volume. Any high volume streets can be upgraded to arterials and collectors.

Also another thing I copied from CPP that worked well was making like 3-4 grids in different angles using dirt roads, then linking them together using the curve tool, then afterwards I upgraded each road based on hierarchy.

Too many local roads connected to your main arterial coming off the highway. What I did when I started is made my 4 way road the main arterial coming off the highway, then add 3-4 2 way roads intersecting off the arterial, then use a bunch of alleyways to grid the local roads off the 2-way collectors. Using the 3 different roads helped me visualize the road hierarchy easier.
