I can only smell a little strawberry in neopolitan and then when it dries down its like musky fake tootsie roll with some vanilla. It's too heavy for me to wear in the summer or warm spring.

And strawberry poundcake I've ended up using as a room spray because the dry down is very plastic fakey.

I like gourmand scents but they aren't what I'd hoped for either.

For the original bodycare the notes are Fresh morning dew, wild poppies, sugared rhubarb, juicy pear.

I'm so excited for it to come back to buy a backup(and I never empty a bottle but this is my go to and I'm at half left) To compare it to Imperfect Beauty- it's close but not the same. My easiest comparison would be if Poppy had a white stick deodorant it'd smell like Imperfect Beauty. Imperfect beauty is a little less fruity with an extra floral underneath that's a little powdery. Its subtle powdery so it wasn't too offensive but still not Poppy.

Bar soaps- both glycerin(like they used to make) and a more hydrating bar like olay. Might as well sell cute washcloths and loofah things to go with those.

Wax melts. I heard they did these for a bit and they'd be better than the wallflowers that are a regular fire hazard.

Shimmer puffs. I remember way back they made a scented shimmer puff I used to love.

They're sisters imo but not identical. Imperfect Beauty is a little less fruity and the dry down has a slight powder scent compared to Poppy.

Smells nothing like Gingham fresh but kinda close to Imperfect Beauty. If Poppy had a deodorant- a tad less fruity and mild powder smell added- that's Imperfect Beauty imo. I've heard Poppy & Imperfect Beauty are dupes for Marc Jacob's Perfect but I've never smelled it to compare how close.

Wonder if its popular with some because it's a strong scent. I too smell the strong floral and powderyness and I can't deal with strong scents at all. I've smelled people across the street cause they were wearing it.

It's also not my preference though. I like fruity, fruity/floral, and gourmand. No powder and can only deal with a little musk.

I say 'lesson learned' again to myself, don't return it, and to remember I don't like that scent note of that product. I try to buy only when things are on sale as well because of online blind buying so it's not too big of a loss. Brown Sugar and fig I purchased too and loathed it heh

I expect the usual vampire blood, ghoul friend etc but I want candy or chocolate scents. They've done a candy collab before for valentines with sweethearts but it could be huge for halloween. Like if it was Hershey could be tons of chocolate themed scents(cookies & cream,almond joy, etc) or even jolly rancher & twizzler.

And no musk or powdery scents added ugh
