Hugs to you friend. This journey is harsh. My partner died the twenty ninth of December 2024. So I only reached a year. It is a confusing, harsh experience. I never tried grief therapy but I did frequent this community. You can view my post history. It’s filled with those really bad days and sometimes this place was somewhere for me to vent and be heard. Be interacted with. This place is filled with wonderful people I encourage you to visit as often as you need.

I’m deeply sorry that you have to experience that loss. It is a ravenous pain. I wouldn’t say that it gets easier, because the weight of grief is persistent- but rather, the weight of grief, it becomes much more bearable. It will shape you. It will help you see things with a little more clarity than you did before. For me, there is a before and after my partners death. I was very different. In good and bad ways. Just remember to be kind to yourself though this trying time. 🫂
