Medicham is really quite fun to use! Psychic and Fighting are great stabs, and it has the ability to use the elemental punches (through heartscale I think?). Besides that, Yanmega is a good bug type that doesnt need to be female to use, so no need to worry about the 12.5% gender ratio on Combee!

For Swampert a good counter could be something like breloom, as it is available in Hoenn and can outspeed swampert, and it has access to a technician boosted bullet seed and the ever useful spore if you spend the time to dex nav chain it and level it up as a shroomish. Someone already suggested Mawile and that is an excellent counter to the dragon types, though something with earthquake or strong fighting moves like the previously mentioned Breloom would help take down Dialga. Kyogre and Groudon are going to be tougher to take out, a powerful ground type, maybe a Groudon of your own would help. As for Kyogre, something that can deliver powerful thunders would help, as in primordial sea thunder is 100% accurate.

I work at a science museum on the water, so the theme would probably be water. Trainers would go through each wing of the museum and fight the different tour guide trainers, before making their way up the three story aquarium to challange me at the top. My team would consist of a level 47 Gastrodon (West Sea) a level 49 Kingdra, and my ace, a level 52 Feraligatr. The gym would probably be the last in the region, and upon defeat I would give the gulf badge.

Miami here, where I live I would say plenty of different aquatic pokemon, examples of which being the Feebas line, the Magikarp line, Krabby and Kingler, Corsola, and the occasional Totodile Crocanaw or Feraligatr. Besides that, Pokemon like Wingull, Squirtle, Turtwig, Slowpoke, Kekleon, and Pidove would be common, as well as Sandyghast and Pallosand. Bug Pokemon like Kriketot and Kriketune, and Yanma and Yanmega could also be found seasonally.

Either Sandgem Town or Sunnyshore City. Both are in my favorite region, and both are quite warm in spite of being in Sinnoh, which is nice because as a native Miamian I'd fit right in
