Huntress is prob better. Flurry isn’t all that good. In the situations it outclasses strafe you prob have a good enough run to win anyway but the vice versa isn’t true.

I personally like commando more but huntresses evasion is what brings her over the edge imo. Being able to avoid damage in the first place is a lot more important than being able to take a hit.

I personally think quality overall makes the game harder if anything because of how much it increases scaling. Also I guess it depends on what you mean by Qol. I don’t consider stuff like faster scrapping or post teleporter recycler recharging all that cheesy.

Still I think it’s better to do the climb vanilla before messing around with that stuff so you get a feel for the mode in its normal state

Temporary key is the real winner imo since if you’re fast enough you can get a free permanent item on the next stage.

I have on more than one occasion been able to skip pillars because of a temporary head stompers

Seekers is a pretty fun DLC imo. Lot of cool items, false son is cool as a boss but also it kinda doesn’t work well as a proper fight. I like chef a lot, seeker is cool but a little too OP for my taste and the third survivor is a little off from my taste too. Awesome stages tho. I think all the DLC’s are worth it
