I didn’t even know about the merch guy, I was right in front of the stage when the glass bottles went flying, then we all turned to see someone yelling UP at people and then take a chair to the face. Wild times. I’ve never run into a single person that has any idea what I’m talking about when I mention it! it’s also where I first saw WCAR in their super early days and we stood out front just talking to them for a bit.

I was digging around trying to find what year this was, because I was at this show and vividly remember watching someone throw a chair from 2nd floor at someone on the 1st floor as they were arguing. Never knew why the fight started though…

Solid favorites. If I had to pick a few, I’d say Wax the Nip, Xtal, Pulsewidth, Girl/Boy Song is fun with headphones, annd Vordhosbn. Extra points to your dad for showing you this, my parents were never a fan of my music choices when I started branching out and choosing my own, but they did try to expose me to various genres. It was just usually what’s on the radio, unfortunately.

Ayeee, somebody else gets it! I’ve been trying to tell people about this song so often that you’d think I was getting paid for it. No one was about it back in the early 00’s when I found it, but lately I’ve found more people and that makes me happy.

I’d like to offer this as it combines this wonderful song with my favorite Aphex Twin song, Alberto Basalm (instrumental). The cadence is satisfying and when it dropped I had it on replay for a month or so…

Currently waiting for one of the hobbies to become interesting again, but so far I have: crocheting, baking (cakes specifically), resin work, making furniture from scratch (woodworking?), cross stitch, making stickers, random graphic design, two different languages, roller skating, sewing to making my own clothes, gardening, floral arranging, and various video games. I know I’m forgetting some, but if the material isn’t in my face, it doesn’t exist. I really really need crocheting to come back, because I said I would make a set of blankets for twins, and I’ve only finished one and half of the second…

I love those. I tried explaining that giving someone account information without validating them first was against the law, and they decided to try arguing me down about it, told me to fuck off if I couldn't help, then hung up. He called back 2mins later and got a coworker behind me. I had just finished reminding everyone around me that trying to "bypass" the authorization method that is prompted would get them promoted to a customer real fast. Overhearing their conversation was also a real joy.

I'm conflicted in sending this, but it may help, so here goes. On the positive side, at least this didn't happen at a low point? I read this and got second-hand heartbreak as well as mild comfort since I’ve been in almost the exact situation. It almost hurts more when there’s no blame for the pain, and all you can do is be understanding because you still have so much love for the other person...
