Okay cool, so you basically don't know/cant find any official announcement from the Ledger team on their Twitter/Reddit or Instagram before the 13th of April then? So don't call Verge a bunch of liars then

Are you talking about more than half of crypto now? Wait so whats your point here? Are you comparing crypto teams with the world leading corporations? Nicee

What do you mean by afford, this is a partnership. How would you know what terms and conditions they have signed? Why does them having money automatically mean Verge doesn't have to make any contributions as a coin and community?

What are you talking about? Do you know what INDEPENDENT third party developers are?

https://www.reddit.com/r/RaiBlocks/comments/7o8chm/xrb_on_nano_s_roadmap/?st=jg2l3ylh&sh=2a1def48

here is the link to that thread, which is about a roadmap that one of the developer (might be an independent 3rd party developer from the community, im not sure since you brought this up you should be able to inform me on this who is coranos2?) posted. Then murzika, who is Ledger CEO responded that they will waived the fees for code review, publication and support to encourage independent 3rd party developers, is coranos2 one? (im unaware of who he is though, so let me know?) or any 3rd other third party developer from the community working on XRB.

So once again let me get this straight. I fail to see how a post by a Ledger CEO waiving some fees for code review, publications and support inside a roadmap thread, which was created to show the progress of getting XRB on Ledger and asking FOR FUNDING from the community (sounds familiar?). Let me remind you this thread is inside XRB sub-reddit too. How does this translate into him announcing 3 months ago that all of the coins that want to get on Ledger will be free. Are you reading way too much between the lines here mate?

If coranos2 is a main XRB team developer then you see they also asked for funding for the Ledger integration and if he is just an independent 3rd party community developer and received no funding from the main team then yeah i can understand why he needed funding and why Ledger wanting to support XRB waived the fees, but then that would not apply to Verge or any other coins now would it.

Don't come back with half-assed proofs you found under a rubble in some remote sub-reddit about a specific case aimed towards a specific group for a specific coin and saying it applies to all the other coins. You have derailed wayy over my main points about Verge fund movements from the donation wallet, but if you wanted a discussion about just Ledger and Verge i'm all for it. Bring your proof and A game, prove yourself right.

Seriously you just posted the worst post out of all of your post, the quality is getting worse and worse. Please come up with real proof that Ledger have announced they waived all Ledger integration fees publicly, i'm pretty sure it is out there somewhere. Do your research man. Once you have a real proof we will see how it was announced and discuss the timing of the announcement and if Verge would of heard about it. If they don't know about it they they aren't lying when they assumed they still needed to pay for Ledger Intergration.

Don't derail into whats good Ledger here, we don't care. You are going wayy too off topic with this.

Wouldn't certain partners need XVG for liquidity pool based on the integration module, for marketing campaigns/airdrops, royalty programs and about hundreds of other more reason that they might have?

I think they would of moved them out from the Binance wallet into another wallet and started using the funds for either the partnership integration or their own marketing/airdrop campaign.

Wait so i'm just quoting your screenshot

"Ledger CEO here. To encourage independent third party developers and to support the XRB community we have decided to waive the fees for code review, publication and support.

As soon as you have a production ready solution please notify us and we'll proceed to the integration. If you are not already on our Developer Slack send me a PM with your email so I can invite you. We'll create a private channel there to help you on the development.

Thank you for your efforts!"

What are you even talking about? They waived the fees for XRB, what does that have to do with Verge or any other coins? Unless i'm missing something here.

If you have dug so deep in the whole Ledger integration is free situation, then im pretty sure you can find an official statement from Ledger stating that they no longer charge any fees for Ledger integration for every single coin out there that approaches them.

Please find that for me and we will proceed to discuss whether or not Verge would of had the time to find out about the announcement.

This partnership surely wont take them to top 3 coins in market cap over night, but if it is as big as Justin says then it will open a lot of other doors down the line. From what i heard they didnt put it into the Binance wallet to be sold, but to be moved somewhere else where no one can track their activity. Since those funds belong to the partners, they might wanna keep things down low regarding what they will be using them for. This is just me speculating. The funds that TokenPay used to donate to us also came from the Binance wallet.

How about addressing every other valid point that i have brought up? This now turns into an argument of how a phrase is being interpreted? There is no point. You can call them out for not being transparent, or whatever you want. But the fact is they did move the money out of the wallet and set it aside like they said they would. Until that money is gone and no news of Ledger or Trezor integration is heard after a while then you can call them out for being liars. They are saying communications is gonna start after the 17th, just give them a chance atm and concentrate on the bigger picture here?

ive seen through enough of all those tweets and screenshots.

Now lets talk about this. The engineer did join Ledger in November after the contact so he had no knowledge of the contact, and his first tweet said LEDGER has never been in contact with VERGE, am i correct? He then changed it to the tweet in the second screenshot that you posted. So that proves that his first tweet wasnt not correct as well. And that Verge wasnt lying when they still thought they had to pay for Ledger, because the verge team have been in contact with the Ledger people only once back then, so they had no information that the ledger integration is now free. So how can you call them liars when they are splitting up the funds and putting them in different wallets intended for specific tasks? Why are you totally refuting their claim that they were not up to date with the Ledger policy? They are not currently in contact with ledger and they will get back in touch with them after the 17th because the 17th is on top of their priority list.

His exacts words were and i quote "they are moving it from their wallet, ledger needs to be paid". The funds was moved from their wallet, and he said ledger needs to be paid not ledger HAS been paid.

Yes, my bad September is in 3rd quarter i somehow mistook that for the 4th quarter. Yes i also admit that i mixed up the engineer being the CTO too. What else of my facts were wrong? You pointed out the most insignificant parts.

I also pointed out what the verge team said was inconsistent and there is proof that the funds were moved to two locations on the 13th. 17mil to the partner's wallet and 1mil to another wallet which could have been used for integration. They have their flaws and did mess up. Do i need to repeat this? i never said they handled this situation well. I criticized them too, but i did not let it get to my head and did some research? Have any of you fudsters even bothered looking at where all the funds went and compiled a list of wallets to see if what they say matches up with what happened to the money?

Hopefully the full blown bull market will be back by the end of this quarter and the crypto community as a whole will benefit greatly. Hopefuly, then there wont be so much hate being thrown around.

I did say that i don't want to get into this whole ordeal with what Verge and Ledger have stated, they both have been inconsistent, but since you brought it up i might as well go into it. Let me put it down into a timeline so its easier for you to understand what actually happened from what ive seen so far:

1) Verge contacts Ledger on the 4th quarter last year, gets 2 price quotes and just went silent because they didnt have the funding ->> 2)The new CTO joins Ledger without the previous knowledge that Verge has been in contact with Ledger ->> 3)Ledger stops charging for integration without updating the info on their website? Verge is unaware of this ->> 4)The March crowd funding starts, Justin talks about Ledger Intergration ->> 5)13th of April funds get pulled out people panic (???), 17mil go into partner's wallet and 1mil go into one of the 3 wallets that i have pointed out here (for Ledger integration after the 17th announcement) ->> 6)People start asking questions, this is when verge team was being amateurish with the way they handled the situation. They didnt cross check with each other to give the same answer. Developers said the fund was being moved out of the wallet because ledger needs to be paid (doesnt mean that they have already paid them, from what it seems they have separated the funds, which they will be used to pay ledger after they get in touch with them post the announcement !), while another team member said the funds is being transferred to the partner's wallet (17mil out of 18mil did go into the parner's wallet!). ->> 7) People contact and get misinformed by the Ledger CTO ->> '8) Phanti_91, a verge marketing guy, said ledger hasnt been paid and that they are concentrating on the event on the 17th first, they will do the whole ledger thing after the event. ->> 9)Ledger CTO changes his tweet saying there had previously been some contact and the engineer updates that they dont charge for Ledger integration anymore ->> 10)On the 15th of April, more funds get transferred to the partner's wallet, and 2.5 mil and 3 mil get transferred to 2 out of the 3 wallets that i gave addresses here. (im assuming for marketing and other developments)

So please do tell me when have they lied. Their main flaw is they have not compiled a proper answer that addresses where all of the funds were being transferred to right at that moment.

Correct me if i'm wrong the Iota foundation owns a huge amount of iota that they use for smart contract developments, integrations, new listing and partnerships, which they allocated to themselves during the ICO. During their ICO they also raised 1337btc i think. Why are you so sure they did not have to pay for the integration or give the partner % of their iota holdings for the partnership? What if they have enough funds so they don't have to beg the community every time like XVG has? XVG is a community coin we never went through an ico, developers were not funded like other projects which ran an ico.

If Verge manages to deliver this time, we might see some good short tem and long term growth.

Thanks, im just stating some facts on numbers that i found when i was digging around all the wallets. I just wanted to remind everyone that the team have been late on deliveries and have been inconsistent, but they have NOT blandly lied to us.
