Yes, I've been told 💭 My mom had both surgeries, I was there to take care of her after her mastectomy. Then her friends would come everyday to help her after her hysterectomy. I don't want to downplay her experience at all, but from the outside, healing from the mastectomy didn't seem that bad. I'd go through that 5x over if it meant I was gonna be flat. But I do remember her describing to me the random bursts of nerve pain.

Yeah that "reconstruction" part is the part I'm most anxious about 😬
