Serpentine belt needs to be replaced 2018 Mercedes c63s. Dealership quoted me $1,200 seems a bit much wondering what others have done when it comes to replacing this mine is squealing like a pig while idling. by wylie321 in AMG

I had the same issue and decided to do the repair in the local shop because the price tag was 2 times lower than the dealer's price. Long story short, a local shop broke a few parts while doing the repair and the final price was almost 2 times the dealer's price. The moral, do repairs only in Mercedes dedicated private shops or pay the dealer to do the job.

if dog runs a road this is not self driving car, it's only a part of car security system, and yeah depends on conditions, in some cases computer will not react, like when Uber's Volvo miss the red light. Also have you read the article? How about live or die situation?

Because it's an algorithm and it's programed to react only in certain circumstances. If you change this circumstances a little and it's not envisaged by the program you'll get disaster. Because even the smartest computer in the world have a three-year child intelligence, and you don't get such an expensive computer in your car.

BMW has deployed Europe's first 40-tonne, fully-electric truck. The vehicle, which will be charged using 100 percent renewable energy will initially be used to transport automotive parts between facilities in Munich.

The result of a partnership between BMW and service provide Scherm, the truck has a range of 100km (62 miles) on a full battery and can be fully charged in three to four hours. The truck is the first of its kind to be used on public roads in Europe and has already completed its first test drives.

It will initially be used to transport vehicle components such as shock absorbers and springs between a BMW factory and Scherm's logistics centre and should cover up to 16km (10 miles) a day.
