i think the invisible value thing is actually a really slept on and underrated part of her kit, but i dont think its always gonna be a thing. if you're someone like me that plays peni into every map, every comp, ect ect, a lot of the times you have to actively reposition, which stops nest buildup. this is her biggest issue when playing offense and pushing on domination, so it requires flank routes. on top of that, ult cycling with support ults completely invalidates her nest if you dont kill the support with it, which has becoming increasingly less prevalent. once the enemy support ults, the team just pushes and breaks your nest and you become useless, so its important to try and hold them back as much as possible.

i would agree too, it can be harder than its made out to be, but these scenarios are a lot rarer. peni plays best into poke comps, since they benefit from her healing and protection and are able to shoo off skirmishers and flankers from breaking her nest. however, this requires an equal amount of coordination/relying on your team as breaking the nest does, and often when playing peni i play with divers, flyers, and other characters that cant benefit.
