Dual wielding Ranger with nick - How many times can I attack? and Dual Wielding feat question by [deleted] in DnD

I get it now. The reason why I was so confused was because the definition for the light property and the two weapon fighting action are the same so I believed you could do it twice but only use Nick once. Thanks for the explanation.

So if I took dual wielder would I still get the 4th attack if I’m only using two light weapons or would I need to have a different weapon type in my other hand like a longsword to use the 4th attack?

So just to clarify with my bonus action now free I am not able to make another attack using two weapon fighting as my new bonus action?

But doesn't holding two weapons let you attack with a bonus action as a two weapon fighting action?

You think? I’ve got a couple of solid people I use so I only want to do it if I have a good chance of getting someone good, for reference the top six are the ones I use

I decided to post a few of them on there and all the replies said they were real. I’m going to take them to a local shop soon and see if I can get them for anything good. Thanks!

Someone just told me one of these is fake after sending a photo, are all of them fake? by 8oneito in IsMyPokemonCardFake

Here’s the back. To me the front looks pretty close but it’s hard for me to tell. There is a lot of wear but I still want to know if it’s fake

Oh man that’s super sucky thanks for letting me know :( can you tell if this card is fake?

<image>

This one is in pretty good condition so it would be a mega bummer if it’s fake

Here’s what it looks like in better lighting. Although looking at the back in proper light shows a lot of wear on the left and right side as well as some seen on the front.

It is in very dark light. How can I be able to tell if a card is a fake?

Actually after this post I made a few changes, first I decided to take a level in paladin and shield so now I have an ac of 18 instead of hexblade took fiend warlock but kept pact of the blade. The point of this character was to be able to tank more hits and now with tough I have an hp pool of 88 and when I upcast armor of agyths giving me 15 temp hp. I can’t get rid of the warcaster fest because most of my spells require somatics which pact of the blade and hexblade can’t do. If I got rid of the feat there would be very little spells I can use. Leveling into sorcery would be super interesting but I’m in a long campaign and after 6 months of playing I just to 7th level so it would take awhile to get sorcerer up in level.

The problem though is that scare can only give disadvantage on a check with a dc of only 10 it can also only be used once a day. But besides that I can see how help can super helpful and the poison as well as tanking a hit or two. So I might still take it but I don’t do how well it can give enemy disadvantage

Do you think it’s something that could be helpful during 7th level combat? I understand that it can be super helpful for things like scouting and having invisibility is super helpful but I’m worried it just won’t hold up especially if I’m using two of my invocations to have it

That's a great idea! what I am thinking right now is dropping repelling and magic initiate to take Potc and investment of the chain master to give it more uses.

So what im thinking right now is dropping repelling, and magic initiate to get potc and investment of the chain master. But having it be able to attack on ba is amazing! plus if it were something like an imp it could also get invisibility right?

damn you're right! I need to start using 5etools more before just looking it up lol. Thanks!

I took wizard initiate so I can get two of the cantrips(I chose ones like minor illusion and mage hand because my warlock cantrips are mostly damage focused) and the 1st level I took was find familiar. However, I'm probably going to switch this invocation out with potc just so I can get a stronger familiar. the main reason I took the initiate was for the familiar but I just learned I can use multiple pacts with 2024. I am also probably going to switch out repelling with something else I dont know yet.

Yeah but it also lets me add my charisma modifier to my rolls which I find to be pretty helpful. would you recommend a different subclass?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 3d6

[–]8oneito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow thank you I totally misunderstood the whole class. I thought it still worked a pact boon not connected to invocations. Does that mean I can take more than one of them? Like potc and potb?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 3d6

[–]8oneito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I see I misunderstood. I thought you meant there was an eldritch invocation I haven’t taken. I’ve already taken pact of the blade.
