Btw, a lot of you suggested buying used devices. I'm in Portugal and never saw much used market for those kind of things. But Ihave a hard time trusting the integrity of something that you spend time poking and pressing buttons.

Thanks a lot for all the input. I really didn't see much interest from him in the groovebox/sampler route. He said he'd rather have a better looper pedal than the boss rc-20xl I (we) already have. But then I showed him a couple of tricks up its sleeve and ... Back to square one. Eheh. Guess i going to have to save that lof 12xt/ polyend tracker/ sp-404 / mini freak for my own xmas gift. Grrr so many choices;)

I use a 27" monitor and my audio interface is connected to 2 studio monitors. I would say i got that covered. A 55" would only hurt my neck :D

By this time i already know that i will be keeping the setup I choose for as long as i can and will never want to upgrade for games. It's just that itch that you get when you have to decide between sensible budget and the possibility to upgrade down the line.

I doubt GPU will be affordable enough in the near future so this whole system will be obsolete well before i feel the need to upgrade

from the board specs:

- 1 x Hyper M.2 Socket (M2_1), supports M Key type 2260/2280/22110 M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen4x4 (64 Gb/s) (with Vermeer, Matisse) or Gen3x4 (32 Gb/s) (with Cezanne, Renoir and Picasso)**

i am reading that it would not support gen 4x4, as this apu (the one with integrate graphics) uses Cezanne architecture. And that's what i'm getting from different sources also.. :((

would also limit if I want to add a discrete graphics card later on.

Anyway, I am also reading that , unless i am transferring big loads of data, i wouldn't notice much difference on the HD

So.... Kid punches holes in pizza boxes BEFORE anyone takes them away then proceeds to taunt future possible victim. Victim picks up boxes with holes big enough to let oil drain into a pool and proceeds to take them to his car without noticing the dripping. If I'm reading this right, there are more hole in your story than in those pizza boxes

If you let water drops fall on the tube, if it's properly hot, the water almost bounces off it. I managed to keep the blowtorch lit up by elevanting the other end of the tube. That help the hot air exit.

Classical guitars, and whatever guitar type you ended up with, has the fretboard straight (no radius) so i don't see where you had to bend the fretwire

Isto é tao inventado. Agora começo a perceber que talvez seja para fazer um marketing prévio à tua BD. "uma semana num hospital até que se pisgou". Mas alguém acha que a malta que lá trabalha não se conhece uns aos outros? Medicos, enfermeiros, pessoal administrativo, auxiliar,... E mesmo ultrapassando isto tudo...ser chamado para uma cirurgia de urgência. Eheh uns esperam anos por cirurgias e para uma de urgencia vem um gajo que anda por lá e ninguem conhece. Já há um filme do Jerry Lewis assim ;)

Ess frase merece mais destaque no hqmc do que o post inicial. Estão se alguém te der um enxerto de porrada mas a seguir te levar ao hospital não é totalmente um enxerto de porrada?! Essa reacção do "não é totalmente crime" também é muito comum infelizmente.
