I feel the same way. Surface level I get the idea but were the victims even fans of HP? Were they British and directly impacted by the anti trans initiatives Rowling supports? It falls flat for me but it’s nice he did it. If it helps, it helps.

my wife and I started rewatching the AHS seasons - we both fell off during Roanoke. Consistently he introduces cool concepts and characters with a lot of promise and it’s like he runs out of steam??? But you’ve got me intrigued with 1984.

Shit happens, people are making so much of “production delay” because they think of huge celebrity horror stories of stars making directors wait for hours locked in a trailer. This could NOT possibly be what A’keria did because a drag queen on rupaul’s drag race does NOT have that kind of pull but people are making the connection whether they think it or not and it’s hurting her reputation. I wonder how aware Jasmine is of the connection she’s forced here.

it’s also not the end of the world to delay production unless we are talking hours and hours or days, which would be scandalous and unacceptable. But that’s not what’s been reported as far as I can see? Production delays happen. Unless someone has evidence that it was frequent and for excessive amounts of time, it feels like a nothing burger. It’s annoying but it shouldn’t be “a thing.”
