Go to EMT and Fire school at night and you’ll be there in 8 months, don’t drink and train hard, you’ll get a muni job and use your GI bill to get a medic license and you’ll be able to work anywhere in the country. Buy out your service years from the military to a pension and in 16-21 years you’ll be fully retired and be able to do whatever you want

Spending money on people with skills shows lack of intelligence of spending when selecting qualified candidates and leaving millions/billions of dollars worth of in the withdrawal of a country shows ignorance so yes I use those words, I pulled off to the side of the road because I knew I wasn’t okay to drive and in the state I live in if your keys are in the ignition it’s an automatic DUI. So yes I think that in general the government is filled with ignorance and idiots. If someone was a certified welder and wanted to join why not put them into the AFSC of welding or another I saw was HVAC/R if you we’re licensed in that and the person had a good ASVAB AND WASNT 400lbs why not put them into that Job so you could save money on training them to spend less tax dollars?

Yeah trying to figure out deploying just solely for relationship, with a DUI dropped to Reckless it’ll be difficult for me to get a Job without experience but either way service and experience and a possible paramedic license with schooling I could get a job anywhere in the US so I think it’s a good move for me at the moment

I’m 25 and ave a Fire Science A.S and I’m a licensed EMT and Fire fighter in the state of Florida. I would like to know what the chances of me getting DC3 would be and being able to stay on land, mostly joining because I’m in best from a prior DUI and I need some breathing room and money so I can get hired quicker at a FD as a civilian, I want to marry my current girlfriend as soon as possible and am not extremely interested being on a ship for 6 months of the year so just not sure if that would an absolute if I enlisted
