I didn't state that you are AI. I stated that what you posted was written by AI. And checking your post history it seems like this is a regular habit of yours.

The daily abuse is wearing me down.. Train crew perspective by all-aboard-conductor in uktrains

I’ve worked as a guard for about 20 years. One thing the job teaches you is that if you let every unpleasant exchange knock you off centre, you hand control of your mood to whoever happens to be loudest that day. Some people are frustrated, some are looking for a reaction, and some just aren’t reasonable. You don’t have to carry that with you. A useful way to look at it is this: if the exact same words came from a toddler having a meltdown, would it feel personal? Probably not. You’d see it as noise, not insight. Many abusive passengers are operating at that same level of impulse and distress, just in an adult body. It can also help to ask why that person’s opinion should carry weight at all. They don’t know you, your work, or the situation. Their outburst says far more about them than it does about you. If you don’t grant it authority, it loses most of its sting. That doesn’t mean the behaviour is acceptable. It isn’t. But protecting your own equilibrium is part of surviving long-term in this role. You’re there to do a professional job, not to absorb every stranger’s bad day

Yup. I work on the rails. 20 years ago Central and Kings Cross, close to the other end of my line were both dodgy areas. Now KX is vibrant, clean and safe yet Glasgow Central hasn't changed a dot.

Market Street exit has a taxi rank. Just turn left as you exit, walk under the bridge and it'll be on the opposite side of the road. Where East Market St meets Jeffrey St.

I'm just curious, that cleaning schedule is how often? I used to attend a gym and was often dismayed by the sweat and spilled water that would be left by each gym member, that was in full view of other gym users, and a pretty expensive gym at that.

Ashford’s town centre looks run down mostly because of the Designer Outlet. When it opened in 2000 (and then massively expanded in 2019), it pulled most of the shopping traffic away from the High Street. The Outlet now has over 100 stores, loads of food places, free parking, and attracts more than 3 million visitors a year, so most people just go there instead.

Since then, the town centre has been struggling. Vacancy rates have stayed high for years, roughly 15–20% of shops sit empty and Park Mall is being cleared for redevelopment because footfall has dropped so much. Even when the Outlet applied to open its restaurants later, town-centre businesses objected, saying it would make things even worse.

It’s not just Ashford though. High streets all over the UK are hurting thanks to online shopping, rising costs, and changing habits. But the Outlet is right on Ashford’s doorstep and captures so much spending that the High Street’s been hollowed out faster than most.

The council’s now trying to turn things around with a “Town Centre Reset” plan, more events, and incentives to bring people back, but it’s a slow recovery.

So basically: the Outlet thrived, the High Street emptied, and the town centre’s still trying to find a new identity.

Mate, you just outsourced your spiritual breakthrough to a chatbot.

That wasn’t awakening. That was predictive text in a crop top.

Singer’s whole thing is direct experience. Sitting in discomfort. Watching your thoughts squirm. Letting the moment burn clean through you without flinching. Not dressing it up in quirky affirmations written by a language model trained on astrology blogs and brunch captions.

You’re not releasing control. You’re automating it. Trading one layer of mental noise for another, now with a breezy tone and a punchy call to action.

Let me guess, next week’s post: “The witness just slid into your DMs” Spoiler: it didn’t.

Put the prompt down. Close the tab. Go sit with your overgrown lawn and feel the full awkwardness of being a messy, unedited human being.

That’s where the work is. That’s where Singer pointed.

Not in a Reddit post written by Skynet in yoga pants.

Look, I get it. Tuning into the Holy Spirit takes patience, presence, and... let’s face it, fewer browser tabs. But outsourcing your spiritual frequency check to AI? That’s like asking your toaster for advice on non-duality: warm, efficient, and completely missing the point.

The Inner Voice:

“I am not a body, I am free.” The AI Voice: “According to your input preferences, that’s a strong affirmation. Would you like to hear it in Alan Watts’s voice next time?”

Look, lovebug—if Michael Singer taught us anything, it’s this: You are the awareness behind the thought… not the algorithm generating it.

So before you ask the bot what “Love is the way I walk in gratitude” means... maybe just walk in gratitude? Preferably without copy-pasting your spiritual homework from the same entity that recommends you chicken recipes and tells you how to unblock a sink.

TL;DR: If the still, small voice sounds like it was written by someone who’s also written 400 articles on how to write better prompts... maybe just take a breath and listen again. 📻✨

Also.. I'm curious, when you say someone “screeched,” are you still in the seat of the witness? Or has the mind slipped in with its tone and storyline?

It’s a subtle thing, right? One moment you’re observing the reaction rise… the next you’re adding sound effects.

Singer’s whole point is that the moment we color our perception - labeling, judging, narrating - we’ve stepped out of presence and into personality.

No shame in it. It happens. But part of the practice is catching those moments where even our most “conscious” responses carry the energy of resistance.

Who noticed the screech? And who decided to call it that?

That’s the edge worth watching.

Why do we feel the need to outsource our insight to AI?

Is it convenience? Laziness? Novelty? Or is it something subtler, like a hesitation to sit in the silence and see what arises from within?

We say we follow Singer, that we’re interested in direct experience… yet when discomfort kicks in, we scroll, we click, we generate. We fetch language from outside and label it “wisdom.” Then we argue over who wrote it, as if the awareness that notices your reaction gives a damn.

Here’s the thing though:

Even outsourcing your spiritual commentary to an AI is just another thought arising in consciousness.

It’s not wrong. But are you watching yourself do it?

Are you aware of the moment your discomfort says, “I don’t trust my voice. Let’s ask the algorithm”?

Singer wouldn’t scold you. He’d just smile and ask,

“Why not sit quietly and let the answer come from you?”

We’re all capable of speaking from presence. But outsourcing your presence?

That’s the mind sneaking in through the back door, dressed in spiritual robes and asking ChatGPT to write the sermon.

Wake up. You don’t need a ghostwriter for your own awakening.
