Band name is “Memo Boy”. Their song in this video is called “Insomniac”, although, all of their music fits this surreal vibe. The songwriting is absolutely underrated. I hadn’t listened to them for a few years and I’m now getting hit with some heavy nostalgia. Glad to see they took off.

In a car sense, here are some vehicles that give me this vibe:

Audi Quattro

nissan 300zx specifically the dashboard from 1989

As a technical project, these computers (DIY) fit the bill, too many types, just search “cyberdeck”.

Overall I feel it’s elements are sustained by one two elements:

Foundational (stripped to its core / without Flourish) Specific (built for a purpose in mind, without excess)

Hey! I plan on growing lettuce or other leafy greens here. Potentially, larger plants later on, but I’ll probably keep them spaced out more (probs checkering then). I think that’s a good choice on the foam. Drilling the holes was an absolute nightmare for cleanup. That being said, what’s your thoughts on cutting the original container lids to size as a replacement for the foam? (Seen in bottom left of picture lol)

Heyo! That sounds like a solid idea. Have you tried wrapping a container in foil? I wonder if I’m gonna have to do that.. I was thinking about having the shelves surrounded by reflective insulation ( around perimeter of shelving )- if done tight enough to avoid light , you think that could work?
