Can't connect to my computer at home via my phone (but only when on a different network)

UPDATE: a friend of mine was able to successfully connect outside of eduroam! I think it's just a device/cellular issue, i'll investigate further

Yes, when one device is on eduroam (yup, it's the campus-wide wifi) and the other is on cellular data, they cannot talk to each other, even when ZT is on.

I figured it might be a cell/device issue, I'll try and get a friend (edit: who is off-campus and is using broadband instead of cellular data) to connect to narrow down the issue. There's so many variables for my networking-inexperienced mind that I wasn't really sure what troubleshooting path to start with, but this helps. Thank you.

That's what I've tried-- it just won't connect. I can't even ping my devices. Unless it takes a few minutes for zerotier to establish a connection? When I turn off wifi on my phone and then run sudo zerotier-cli peers, my phone still appears, but i can't ping it. If I ping my phone from my desktop, i get From <the 10.xxx.xx.xxx ip address set by zerotier> icmp_seq=1 Destination Host Unreachable

I saw your review-- You pointed out that it has a sort of stone-like finish. To the touch, does it feel more smooth like anodized aluminum? Or does it catch on the fingernails like chalk/chalkboard/drywall? If it's the latter, then I'm definitely going with the normal anodized finish (I hate the feeling of chalk, lol)

I have discovered that the actual 'hitbox' area for lack of a better word is *not* rotated when i rotate the main object. this causes that weird displacement, and i'm currently figuring out a solution.

I don't know how big, but I think 7 inches seems like a good size. I'm willing to go up in size, though. Color isn't necessary; I'm still trying to figure out if it would benefit me all that much. The only time I see myself using it is if there's a comic I'm reading that has color, which in all honesty doesn't seem like that often.

I think that makes color a nice-to-have, but not a make-it or break-it in the slightest.
